A unique little "hide-away", the Liscomb Lodge is located on an inlet off of the Atlantic along what is otherwise a rough Nova Scotia coastline. Any number of sailboats visit this refuge from the ocean to tie up overnight. Paddle boats and other water craft are available for those who want that exercise and experience here. The room itself was... More

We used Liscombe Lodge as an overnight stay and it was quite good. The staff is friendly, spaceous rooms (maybe a little bit out of date). The restaurant serves lovely food in the evening and a good breakfast in the morning. If you love peace and tranquility, this is the place to be.

We stayed here one night on our fall road trip. Standard hotel type room. food and service was great. Nice river/creek view from restaurant. Liscombe Mills is in the middle of no where really. there are a few other spots to stay but none as large as this and none with the same amenities.

We love our location! It's the perfect way to get lost in nature and disconnect from your phone! You'll have to come back in the summer, we have free kayaking, paddling and a lot of other fun activities! Thank you for your great review! Karen Wenaus More

Liscombe Mills/Englishtown in St. Mary’s, Nova Scotia. We drove along St. Mary’s River, where Babe Ruth used to fish for salmon. We were arrived at Liscombe Lodge and were greeted by GM Karen. She is overly enthusiastic. Dinner was in the Liscombe Restaurant and was very tasty. I had their planked salmon with maple syrup. Yum. Grounds are beautiful. The... More

Being located in one of the most beautiful parts of Nova Scotia at Liscombe Lodge, the enthusiasm just comes naturally! Our salmon is fresh and cooked on a plank right here on site! It's a guest favorite, for obvious reasons. Thank you for providing your feedback, we’ve shared your comments with our team. We hope to welcome you back next... More

My boyfriend and I had a fantastic night away at Liscombe Lodge in August. The grounds were beautiful, we enjoyed our buffet breakfast and delicious dinner in the restaurant and loved the pool/hot tub facilities. We stayed in a chalet (which I definitely recommend spending the extra money for!) We had a great view of the river and the chalet... More

Taking advantage of ten sunny days at the beginning of autumn while on a motorcycle trip, my brother and I discovered the Liscombe Resort Lodge by chance. In the middle of nowhere close to the Atlantic ocean... A true wonder along the coast of Nova Scotia, we were enchanted by this resort where we discovered luxurious comfort surrounded by forest.... Perfect stay , the chalet was rustic, comfortable and what a great view. The highlight for us ( if your a foodie) was the coconut cream pie. It was honestly the best I have ever had in Nova Scotia, and I have had quite a few around the province. Our server was great and he told us Connie was the... More

Stayed our last night on maritimes trip. This is part of the 3 Signature resorts on Nova Scotia but is not really in the same category as Keltic lodge or Digby Pines. It is a little dated but has very friendly staff, is comfortable and is located in what feels like the middle of nowhere. We had a room in... More

We do have quite a bit of wildlife in our parts, we are far out in the wilderness! I'm glad you had no encounter with the bear, but had a great time exploring our trails! They are stunning! It also sounds like supper was delicious, the salmon is a guest favourite! You will have to come back next year and... More
