We stayed in the comfortable Harbourview Room. Beautiful views over the water and of the sunrise. Small lounge next to room, with access to microwave, fridge, coffee machine and table and chairs. Quiet location, with easy 5 mins walk into the town area. Lovely, helpful host and gorgeous dog! Delicious breakfast! Would definitely stay here again.

My husband and I visited this lovely manor. The accommodations were very clean, proprietor was very nice. The food was awesome. Stay here, you won't regret it. The bed was so comfy I didn't want to leave. Beautiful rooms.

Pepperlane Manor is a gorgeous old house, renovated to a high standard. A warm welcome, and up to the Harbour View room, again, very comfortable, very clean. Breakfast was excellent, the small starter course of fresh blueberries, granola, greek yoghurt and banana was a real treat. Yes, would stay again, no question.

Guysborough is a charming little lakeside town, not much going on and I think only two places to stay. The more expensive hotel was full so we opted for the Pepper Lane B&B. This is an excellent establishment with beautifully decorated rooms; slightly minimalist greys, quite sophisticated, just what we like. Breakfast was a very good Greek omlette, we were... More

We were very pleased with our stay at the Pepperlane Manor. This is a heritage house that has been completely redone. The renovations are outstanding. Elaine is a wonderful host. The rooms are lovely, very clean, quiet and nicely finished. Wifi worked very well. There is a common room on the top floor that has space for watching TV, playing... More

Guysborough is a small, quaint and unspoiled coastal town on the east coast of Nova Scotia. Pepperlane Manor is a stand out, spacious century home full of charm and with modern facilities. Elaine is very welcoming and friendly. Friendly too is the loyal Hobbes (Elaine's dog, not the Butler) who trots about the owner's quarters keeping a wary eye on... More

Pepperlane Manor is wonderful! It's a beautiful old home and so clean and well maintained. Elaine is so welcoming and her dog Hobbes is too:) He was a sweet dog. Elaine had great suggestions for dinner in Guysborough. Our room was so cozy and felt like home. They have thought of almost anything a guest could need to feel comfortable.... More

Thank you for the lovely comments about our B&B! I thoroughly enjoyed our conversation after breakfast and hope that the rest of your trip went well! I know that there were two little boys who were very happy when Mommy and Daddy got home! Hopefully Grandma and Grandpa didn't spoil them! ( But I know that they did! ) More

We stay in B&Bs a lot. This one has an outstanding range of amenities: more than one normally encounters. It is a beautiful old house in perfect working order (well, almost. The front door stuck a bit, but the proprietor warned as about that). Perhaps Elaine, the proprietor, is a bit more reserved than the norm. How important is that?... More

We are happy that you enjoyed your stay at Pepperlane Manor. We strive to make our home a comfortable, charming and clean place to stay as you enjoy your Nova Scotia holiday. The issue with the front door really has little to do with the renovations of our home, but more to do with the extreme humidity. The door now... More

We chose to come to Guysborough from watching a TV show and Doers and Dreamers guide. Both showed people riding bikes in the town and we thought it would be a great biking area for us. Unfortunately that was not the case but Pepperlane Manor was the saving grace. The house is beautiful and clean. The bed was the most... More

Elaine immediately made us feel welcome into her beautiful home. The house is immaculate with well maintained grounds. We stayed in the Harbourview room which is spacious, quiet and very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious, generous and nicely presented. Pepperlane Manor would certainly be recommended if your travelling to the area. Thank you again Elaine for your hospitality.
