Booked in for 3 nights, cancellation policy was a week in advance, so if you change your mind, your stuck. Carpets dirty and musty, TV/Satelitte did not work, and no WiFi available, We advised them and no effort to get them working. Furniture was 1970's vintage, and chrome kitchen table had quite the slope, great for hot wheel racing. Beds... More

We found this place when searching for somewhere close to Upper Clements Park. I called to book a 1 bedroom cottage and in the course of conversation mentioned we were travelling with out infant daughter. Upon arrival, there was a playpen all set up in the bedroom with blankets and a sweet baby quilt - we were blown away! It... More

We ended up here somewhat at the last minute, but it worked out well. The staff is friendly, and the facilities are well kept up. We stayed in a 2 BR cabin and while it wasn't fancy it was clean and the bathroom appeared to have been recently renovated. Enjoyed the location near Annapolis Royal and thought it was a... More

This is one of the best family campgrounds we stayed at. The sites are big and treed . The washrooms are very clean and the showers are nice and hot. Lake in the middle with paddle boat and canoe rentals . Fire wood is cheap at 3 dollars a armful . There is also a nice size pool on the... More

We stayed here for a night in early October. We loved the firepit and the tranquility of it all. We stayed in a 1 bedroom that was exceptionally clean! Though these cottages may be dated, I appreciated how clean they were as we had our very small baby with us. They did go overboard on the recycling notices in the... More

We want to Mountain Top campground last weekend and loved it there. The campground sites are large and the place was very tidy and clean. Our grandchildren who are 15 and 10 came with us and they had a great time biking and swimming in the pool which was very clean. At night time the campground was very quiet. I... More

Our family camped here last summer and it was amazin! The campsites are large and gorgeous. The washroom/shower was absolutely spotless. We enjoyed walking around the lake and on the trails; saw ducks, eagles, muskrats and more. Spent lots of time at the different playgrounds and at the pool (which was clean!!!). The staff was so helpful and friendly! We... More

We have enjoyed the cottages for several years but they are reaching a stage where a bit of investment would help. The living room chair was broken. The kitchen chairs were new but only comfortable for a small child. Many of the locks on the outside doors were sticking with the humidity and we watched most people struggle with them.... More

We visited Mountain Top Cottages for the first time in August of 2012. We travelled with our two boys (ages one and three), as well as my parents - four adults and two kids in total. These cottages compare very favourably with other cottages we've stayed at. They are clean, well maintained, and feature many comforts and conveniences. Each cottage... More

We recently stayed at the Mountain Top Cottages with our two preschool children and two other familieis. We stayed in Cottage #1 and our friends stayed in cottages #2 and 4. We all found our cottages to be extremely clean upon arrival (although smelling a bit "cottagey" which disappeared after leaving the windows open for half an hour). Cottage #1... More
