Me and my boyfriend and our 3 children spent 3 nights at Dunromin in Uncle Bills cabin, it was very spacious, had everything we needed, was extremly clean, it had a bbq, a full kitchen, all utensils, a small bathroom (just a toilet but was all we needed as the washrooms were directly across from us with showers), the park... My wife and I were looking for a nice place to have breakfast in the Annapolis Royal area. It was Canada Day, a beautiful day for a road trip!. We called Dunromin to see if the restaurant was open for breakfast and now we are so happy we called! I had the French Toast with 'real' maple syrup and excellent... More

We stayed for two nights. We stayed a night in the tipi and a night in the gypsy wagon. Our two girls loved it and so did we! Service is great and very friendly. Very helpful and knowledgeable. The entire campground is impeccably kept. Garbage cans are plenty, facilities are extremely clean, the grounds are well maintained, quiet area, family... More

our family stayed at Dunromin this past weekend, we rented 1 of the rustic cabins with a double bed and 2 bunk beds for the first time as we usually are tenters, it was the perfect way to go. the cabin was just what we needed as we spent most of the time at upper clements so just needed a... More

10 steps from your front door to the water, and it's even swimmable water! Loved that we could buy ice and firewood right at the front office, which was also stocked with damn near anything you could want for your trip, like a drugstore, grocery store, and hardware store all in one. The food at Stone Horse was great as... More

Very family friendly place! We stayed in a cabin with our two young children. The cabins are beautifly located right on the water. It was however quite the little hike too the washrooms especially with a child in the middle of the night in the rain. That would be my biggest complaint. I'm thinking alot of the times these cabins... More

We're not really a 'campground' kind of family - we prefer 'real' camping out in the woods, but travelling with a 22 month old, a 5 year old and a 7 year old, we thought it would be more enjoyable for everyone if we just rented a little cabin somewhere. We were pleasantly surprised with Dunromin. While the cabins were... More

This campground perfectly located just outside Annapolis Royal on the Water. Positives are location, on the water, onsite restaurant, pool etc. The negative are primarily how tight the sites are and the DUST. We are a 45 ft motorhome and I am not sure how we would have driven into our site if we had had neighbours on either side.... More

we spent the night for the first time in the Rustic Cabins at Dunromin and it was great and the Kids loved everything about it, especially all the activities there were, swimming, fishing, canoeing and countless others. The people that work there go above and beyond to give you a great outdoor family experience I would recommend going here to... More

Just had a wonderful little stay at Dunromin campsite. We stayed in a little cabin right on the beach, 1 Double bed and and some bunks. you get a cool little log cabin with power and water, your own fire pit and a picnic table. The facilities were spotless and well maintained and there is lots to do. My kids... More
