We enjoyed our visit on November 17 2014. Walking through the front door, we were greeted by Bill and Marie and immediately felt welcome. This visit was unfortunately a result of work being done to our home . Our room was clean, comfortable, and lacked nothing to take from our comfort. The brief stay gave us a chance to evaluate... We stayed at this B&B in October (a great time to visit Nova Scotia, by the way) and fell in love with the place and Bill and Ann Marie, the owners. The rooms are spacious and lovely. Everything was clean and fresh, and Bill and AnnMarie were attentive without being hovering. It was hospitatlity at its best.

We stayed at A Seafaring Maiden B&B 2nd week of October. Bill and Anne Marie's home exceeded all expectations - 5 star accommodations within a fully restored, pristine 19th century home. Bill and Anne made sure all our needs were met from the time of our arrival, including providing directions to the best local attractions and dining. Gourmet breakfasts each... More

Our room had a king-size bed and private bath. But the bath is down the hall. We are the only ones assigned to that bathroom which is what "private" means! I think all the rooms are on the second floor and up somewhat steep stairs. Fortunately we had some help getting the bags up the steps. Bill, the very nice... More

My husband and I stayed two nights with Bill and AnnMarie at the end of September. I can say only one thing: It was fantastic! A beautiful, quiet house with fantastic views, large rooms, spotless clean, excellent breakfasts and everything was thoughtfully provided like for example early morning coffee, fluffy bathrobes and so on. Thank you so much, Bill and... More

This gorgeous heritage B&B has a breath-taking view across the Annapolis River both day & night. Enjoy the stars & the night lights of Annapolis Royal while sitting in a circle of Adirondack chairs conducive for guests’ conversation around the fire-pit. Bill & Anne-Marie have captured a piece of history with their delightful B&B which they generously share with their... More

My husband and I recently spent two nights at the Seafaring Maiden and everything was perfect--lovely accommodations, delicious breakfasts, gracious hosts! The location was ideal for taking in the sights of Annapolis Royal and Port Royal. Bill and AnnMarie gave us excellent suggestions regarding restaurants, and "must-see" points of interest. Staying at the Seafaring Maiden was made even more memorable... More

My wife and I recently had the extreme pleasure to spend 3 nights at The Seafaring Maiden B&B. Our hosts, Bill and Ann Marie could not have been more accommodating. They made suggestions of things to do and places to eat in the area, called ahead to see if we could do some whale watching, and even called around to... More

We truly liked this B&B. It was our first in Nova Scotia, maybe not the most beautiful house (there are a lot of beautiful old houses in NS) but Bill was certainly the best host we had. He made us feel at home, and it felled as if he was a very good friend for many years. He was so... More
