We had a lovely time at this B&B. Our only regret was that we did not stay longer than one night! The hosts Bill and Ann-Marie are very warm and accommodating. On the day of arrival, we had called ahead to let them know we were running much later than planned, and there was no problem checking in, even after... More

Our hosts Ann Marie and Bill are two of the nicest people we've met in recent years. We only stayed one night but when we left they seemed like old friends. The room was very nice and the location couldn't have been better. We were there to see the Bay of Fundy tides and this location was ideal. We had... More

The Seafaring Maiden is a top notch bed and breakfast! Our hosts were warm and welcoming. This lovely Victorian home is full of history and charm. Our room had all the creature comforts and was full of decorating details for the time period. Breakfast was everything you could want with none stop coffee, homemade biscuits, preserves all served on elegant... More

A wonderful experience and time spent here. Bill and Ann Marie were warm and eager to make our time there enjoyable. Breakfast was excellent and the recommendations of things to do in the area were perfect! There is a recently created area to relax and sit by the water that is very inviting. We will absolutely make 'A Seafaring Maiden'... More

We had a fantastic experience at this lovely Victorian home on Annapolis Basin. Originally built by a sea captIn it has been beautifully restored by his great great grand daughter. She and her husband are delightful hosts preparing coffee at 7 then a sumptuous breakfast at 8:30. They know all the great places to go and their recommendations for dining... More

Bill and Ann Marie were so welcoming and helpful in planning our local itinerary, and couldn't have done more to help us make the most of our stay. We overnighted in the Captain's room presented in a comfortable period style with great views of Annapolis Royal across the river. Wine glasses and early morning tea were lovely touches. Our hosts'... More

Great quiet location on the river facing the town Annapolis Royal. Well maintained restored Victorian home with beautiful architectural features, e.g. Wedgewood detailing in dining room, original banisters, and museum quality antiques in the main living areas. Bathrooms are modern. Being early risers, we enjoyed the carafe of coffee put out in the upstairs hallway in the early morning. We... More

We stayed 2 nights and would definitely go back. The owners are knowledgeable about the area and strive to help you enjoy the area. We did genealogy research and they connected us with a local genealogist.

My wife and I spent five nights in the Abigail at the Seafaring Maiden for our honeymoon. We could not have picked a better place. We passed many B&B's in Annapolis Royal, but none of them had the view that we did. Great bayside location. Our hosts were tremendously helpful and friendly and the biscuits we had with breakfast every... More
