I booked all 4 rooms at this inn for a annual office Christmas event. We had dinner at the winery next door and walked back to the inn on the short lantern lit path through the vineyards. The hosts were so accommodating. They welcomed us and made us feel at home instantly. We used the common space to socialize after... More

Nestled in a vineyard, Olde Lantern innkeepers Desmond and Adriana, are the epitome of the perfect hosts. Adriana's warm smile and Desmond's gentile demeanor made us feel most welcome when we arrived. Their place feels more like home and breakfast has to be the highlight of the day (choice of eggs benedict, french toast, omelet served fresh fruit, coffee or... More

We stayed for the first time in this Inn this year. We make frequent overnight trips to Wolfville and decided to try a different venue for our stay. I am going to preface this review by noting that we are more hotel folk than "bed and breakfast" folk, so this inn felt a little small for us. There is a... More

We stayed at the Olde Lantern Inn September 2014. We had an upstairs bedroom over looking the vineyard. The location was perfect. The room was very nice with a great bathroom. The bed was so comfortable, but very high, lol. We had to use a stool to get in and out of the bed. The hosts were kind and went... More

The Old Latern Inn is one of the most relaxing places we have found on our travels. Beautifully situated among the vines of Grand Pre Winery, it boasts comfortable accommodation in a pristine setting. Close to all amenities and steps away from the winery, it is your home away from home. Our visit was all too short but memorable and... More

We were here for a family wedding in August 2014, and found the little inn to be so charming. The hosts mostly left our family (we rented the whole Inn) to ourselves, but arrived in the morning to cook us breakfast! I'd stay here again in a heartbeat.

Our hosts, Desmond and Adriana were gracious, friendly and accommodating. Although they have been proprietors of this inn for just a short time they are already adept at creating a welcoming atmosphere and have many plans for making their guests' experience even better. We especially enjoyed sitting on the deck overlooking the vineyard, having a glass of wine and enjoying... More

You would not know that this charming couple has just become the proud owners of the B&B. Desmond and Adriana made us feel very welcome. Desmond prepared a great breakfast while Adriana poured delicious coffee and was very attentive to the guests. We loved having a choice of breakfast dishes. We love walking around the grounds and enjoyed the many... More

Very kind, interesting, thoughtful hosts. They are new as of August 2014, but doing fantastic. Very very thoughtful and delicious breakfast, special for us wacky vegetarians, but with more choices and care than most any other B&B. They have many separate outdoor seating areas, so that many guests can separately enjoy the awesome views of the adjoining vineyard. Then you... More

Lovely comfortable rooms, wonderful owners, delicious breakfast. Definitely a great place to stay! Highly recommend both the inn and visiting grand pre and wolfville. Great wineries nearby that offer tours.
