Clayton B&B was simply delightful. Excellent breakfast each morning, a very clean and lovely house, excellent views, close to town... Isaac and Kathy are truly wonderful people. I would stay here each time I visit the island.

When we arrived Isaac was on the barn roof doing repairs.... This is a working farm and life can't stop just because there are visitors. We took Isaacs advice and went for a walk around the farm. ... down the path to the lake edge. We chatted to the cows, cats and squirrels then went back to change for our... More

We had a large twin shared room with shared bath, including nice, hot showers. Isaac, the owner, was very helpful and friendly. He told us about the history of the farm and the ceilidhs on that night. We had a good breakfast and enjoyed visiting with the other guests, including some of his relatives.

This was so much like our family farm! Quaint and peaceful. We enjoyed the mooing and helping move herd from one pasture to another. Think City Slickers! Isaac is a doll; he is great at making you feel at home. A one of a kind experience! We were worried about sharing bath, but since we had two of the four... More

We loved Isaac and the farm. Our room was sweet. The breakfast was wonderful. The nice walk to the shoreline, the cows, the fox family in the woods. It's a working farm, so be persistent in contacting Isaac. We met some great people here too.

We stayed in the trailer and couldn't have been happier. Issac was amazing as the host and owner of the B & B.Across from the Streyford Venue and home of the Rankins. Visiting The Red Shoe which is the Rankin Pub is a must. 20 km from the amazing Inverness Beach. Mabou also has a great beach. Very friendly staff... More

My daughter and I shared a spacious room with two beds covered in quilts. The dormer ceilings made the room feel cozy and is reminiscent of the age and style of the old farm house. The painted wooden floors and decor were very nice. The view of the farm lands and cattle were lovely and peaceful. The kilometer long driveway... More

My wife and I picked this B&B because it was a working farm and looked charming. When we booked Isaac explained that we had shared bath rooms and that this was a real working cattle farm. He took our reservation on the phone and did not ask for a deposit or credit card number. He trusted that we would arrive... More

Staying at a bed a breakfast with kids isn't always easy- but Isaac Smith made us feel welcome and set us up in a room with a cot so that 4 of us could stay. We were early in the season- so it was quiet, but I imagine it would be pleasant whether busy or not. The house was clean... More

I stayed in this location with my family (2 adults 3 kids) in August of 2013. Nice location with lots of walking trails around property and cows to enjoy. Isaac was very helpful with information on the area. Free wi-fi available. Very nice old farmhouse.
