Good food, Fun atmosphere, Nice live celtic music the night we were there. if visiting near Glenora Inn be sure and stop and experience this little oasis. 15 min drive from Inverness, well worth the time.

It was a culinary package that was well worth the money. A tour, a meal with ice wine, single malt whisky, lots of wine... And live music ... .... And a gorgeous setting and the service was amazing.... I highly recommend!!!!!

Coming on dinnertime, we ran into this old distillery, restaurant and inn. The food was well made and presented with something for everyone. There was lobster, pasta, steak and meals for the kids which were all top quality! A great little surprise which you'll enjoy.

We had some extra time getting from New Glasgow to Sydney to catch the ferry to Newfoundland so we took route 19 north from Port Hastings. After passing through Glenville we came upon the Glenora Distillery - whitewashed buildings nestled in a beautiful valley. I felt transported someplace else (Scotland perhaps?) so I immediately wanted to see it and take... More

After 4 days in the highlands, we arrived at the distillery on the journey to Halifax. Dishevlled, dirty, tired and relaxed, we entered the distillery and were greeted by a welcoming staff that knew exactly what a group of campers needed: a dram of whisky! Excellent whisky and excellent service! Although a bottle of the stuff will set you back... More

We stopped by the distillery for dinner and started with the gift shop. When we arrived we were the only people there and the two women behind the counter were speaking rudely of the people who had previously visited. The were speaking negatively about a family that just left and we could hear their entire conversation. We were so put... More

My husband and I, with several friends, went through a brewery tour at the distillery and ate dinner. The tour was very informative and well done. We sampled the whiskey! We then ate dinner which was incredibly delicious and worth every dime! The service was outstanding! Between courses, we were given samples of new foods and a sorbet to cleanse... More

Stayed in a cottage for one night. Loft bedroom upstairs, two bedrooms on bottom floor. On bathroom with shower. If you don't like the wood cabin look inside, this is not for you. The cottages are a long walk up a steep hill, not much fun after drinks and a meal. As for the drink sampling, don't waste your money.... More

Found this to be well beyond my price range. Everything in the gift shop was very expensive and not even worth my looking at. Found the same10 yr bottles of whiskey at the NSLC down the road for a fraction of the cost. The staff at the front desk was upitty and not at all approachable or friendly. The cost... More

My husband and I were traveling with our 18-month old son. I had called ahead to ensure there would be a crib or play pen for him to sleep in as well as putting the comment in my reservation. When I arrived they told me they didn't have anything for me. I was disappointed. The manager worked really hard though... More
