We were lucky to find the Cranberry open late on Thanks Giving weekend when everything else in Louisburg was closed. David is really nice host, bedrooms and decor are very special. Very clean, different breakfast choice each morning. Very quiet and relaxing.

We spent a delightful two nights at the Cranberry Cove Inn. Our host David welcomed us and showed us to our room named Field and Stream. It was clean, very spacious with a fireplace and large bathroom. The room is located on the second floor on the back corner of the house so windows can be opened on 2 sides.There... More

This is what a bed and breakfast should be. Quaint, clean, charming, friendly and welcoming. This old character house was charming. The homemade eggs Benedict was delicious. Our host David was most welcoming. We were two couples travelling together and thoroughly enjoyed the cranberry cove. A treat after having a disastrous b & b experience earlier in our trip.

Loved staying here. David, our host/owner, was the best, when we thought we had lost the car keys he was outside looking for them. Not too many people would do that. We stayed in Anne's Hideaway. Loved it. Every room has its own theme and ensuite. Breakfast was wonderful. Without a second thought I would totally recommend this B&B to... More

Beautiful Inn. Breakfast was lovely. Quaint building and amazing rooms. Very comfortable. Owner was so friendly. Only bad thing was when a red Sox fan put a red sock on our antenna. Our license plate says ' YANKS' oh well. Lol

My wife and I spent 2 nights at Cranberry Cove B&B as guests of David, our Innkeeper. David was very welcoming, showed us around the property, and helped us with our luggage. He made some suggestions re restaurants in town, and loaned me a copy of the guide book to the Louisbourg Fortress, to enhance our visit. The property is... More

We stayed in Anne's Hideway, a twin room, with sky lights that opened as windows, so there was good cross ventilation. The butterflies on the wall paper, the bedspreads, and other furnishings are adorable. All the other rooms have attractive color schemes as well. Breakfast was good, and the owner and his son were very helpful.

What a great hidden gem in Cape Breton! We enjoyed our one night stay very much from check in to breakfast in the morning. The staff were very friendly and informative. We liked the location and our room was great! Well kept and clean and fresh, and a jacuzzi tub in our bathroom really impressed - especially after a wet... More

A wonderful retreat, we stayed for 3 nights and could not have asked for better accommodations and service. The room was spacious and comfortable, the jacuzzi tub was a real treat and the breakfast served each morning with an egg dish and the freshest fruit was outstanding. Their attention to detail was second to none, they even provided cotton swabs... More
