This B and B is charming, relaxing, and well priced. Rooms are clean, spacious, and comfortable. Walking distance to Fort and local amenities. Nice view. Very friendly and helpful host. Amazing breakfast. Highly recommended.

A wonderful retreat, we stayed for 3 nights and could not have asked for better accommodations and service. The room was spacious and comfortable, the jacuzzi tub was a real treat and the breakfast served each morning with an egg dish and the freshest fruit was outstanding. Their attention to detail was second to none, they even provided cotton swabs... More

Our room on the third floor provided a lovely view of Louisourg and the harbour. Our room was furnished wonderfully for the character and age of the home. The bed was very comfy and the room was very quiet in the evening. No need for air conditioning as the breeze and fan kept us very comfortable. The jacuzzi bath was... More

The Inn is on the main street and it's easy to spot the big cranberry house. There's plenty of parking on a well-graveled lot (I don't recall seeing a ramp). We were greeted by the owner, Dave, in his office which is well stocked with flyers and brochures on the attractions in the area. Our room was on the second... More

What a treasure we have found. Your breath will be taken away when you first walk up and into this Victorian period home. Quiet. Clean. Friendly. Superb service. Breakfast today was eggs benedict. Mmmmm. Sam's dad rocked it! Definitely a come back place!

Stayed here after visiting the fortress. The room was very nice with a nice bathroom with a jacuzzi. A couple of things did irk me here a I feel a need to pass them on. First off, when traveling it is always nice to have access to a fridge so we can make an icepack for the next day and... More

A lovely inn - well appointed and full of antique furniture!! Staff carried our bags up the stairs which was very nice. Breakfast was divine! A wonderful hot breakfast that was not just plain eggs and toast. A unique wonderful hot breakfast created for the guests that day, We really enjoyed the wraparound porch till smokers showed up, but that... More

We stayed here last year and really enjoyed our visit. Family owned and operated. Very helpful and friendly staff. Breakfasts were sensational! Clean room, comfortable beds, attractive decor in an impressive Victorian home. Centrally located in the town. We needed an earlier breakfast than was advertised, to accommodate our schedule; not a problem at all. We look forward to our... More

Having just returned to the UK after a 2 week trip to Nova Scotia / Cape Breton, we were reviewing our experiences of the 12 B&B's/Inns where we had stayed. Overall they were all of a pretty high standard but we concluded that Cranberry Cove was the best. The comments of previous reviewers are all totally justified and any future... More
