I am so glad we found this small Bed and Breakfast in Louisbourg. We stayed two nights and really enjoyed it. We had a "skip lunch breakfast" of bacon, eggs, and a special potato bake dish, as well as all the tea/coffee and juice we could drink. We chatted with some other people that were staying there for the one... More

Nice, clean rooms...such a pleasure. We were welcomed and looked after by 2 wonderful ladies, Roseanne and Joanne (the owner). The bed was comfortable, although the room was a little cramped (we were in the smallest of the 3 bedrooms). There are 2 larger rooms and the largest has an ensuite. We shared a bathroom with the next room, which... More

This was the exclamation mark after a Great weekend in Louisbourg, N.S. We enjoyed the friendly atmosphere in the Spinning Wheel, the many convenient details which made our stay a very comfortable one. The B&B is xtremely clean without being sterile and the breakfast is among the best, if not the best I ever had at a B&B! Greatest recommandation!

Very clean, well appointed rooms. Comfortable all around and the folks are terrific. Roseanne took great care of us at check in and Joann (owner) was fabulous. An absolutely to die for breakfast the next morning. In fact the best one we had in the 3 week tour. You have to try Joann's home made breakfast potatoes,,,, they are crazy... More

The two ladies of Spinning Wheel overbooked us in error but accommodated us instead in a nearby hotel that was beautiful. We came back to Spinning Wheel to eat the best breakfast of our entire trip and enjoyed visiting with other travelers around the breakfast table. Spinning Wheel is literally right outside the entrance to Louisburg Fort.

Arrived after our check in time, but Roseanne ran right over to settle us in. Had the Captain's room for one night. A little small but very comfortable, well appointed, and very clean. Hall bathroom was very large and immaculate...in fact the whole place was spotless. Joann cooked us a great breakfast (try the fish cakes). We were initially taken... More

We stayed one night at the Spinning Wheel. My husband and I had one room and my mother the other which shared a bathroom. The rooms were small but comfortable and everything was spotlessly clean. There is a comfortable shared living room and a delicious breakfast was served in the morning. This isn't a place with the ambiance you would... More

My husband and I stayed one night in the Lighthouse Room at the Spinning Wheel B & B. This room has an ensuite bathroom with shower only. The room and bathroom were spotlessly clean. There are two other rooms on the main floor with a shared bathroom. There is also a sitting room with TV available for guests. We had... More

We only stayed one night, (Sept. 20th) wishing we had stayed another.. When we got there, Joanne wasn't home , but there was another lady who dealt with us. She was very helpfull. We got lucky, as we had a room with a shared bathroom, and no one else was booked in.. so we had the place pretty much to... More
