You don't need to read my review - just book this now! So relaxing and beautiful accommodations. The cottages are right next to the beach and interiors were recently re-decorated - very modern and stylish. You can visit nearby Keltic Lodge for dinner and music.

My husband & I stayed for one night, on a last-minute motorcycle trip, in the Oceania Guest Room. The location is perfect - close to the entrance/exit of the Cape Breton Highlands National Park, on a quiet beach, with a couple of options for dining close by. The room, linens, bath and furnishings were lovely, clean and good quality. Coffee,... More

My mom and I stayed here our next-to-last night in Nova Scotia. We'd been traveling the Cabot Trail and we'd grown accustom to the tight quarters and outdated decor of the area's bed and breakfasts. ("Just part of the Cabot Trail's personality," we told ourselves each day as we braced ourselves for the next destination.) But then we arrived at... More

The Lantern Hill and Hollow was a wonderful surprise and the highlight to our trip. The views were remarkable. I was not expecting the beach to be so close, and the sounds of the surf to echo through the night. The cottage was gorgeous and clean, and the staff (especially Kim) did a great job of checking us in and... More

Lantern Hill and hollow is in a beautiful setting on a small beach with a spectacular view. We stayed in one of the 6 newly built cottages. Spacious, huge bathroom with jacuzzi tub and wheelchair accessible shower. Excellent fully equipped kitchen. Nicely furnished and comfortable living room with gas fireplace. Would be great for a family stay for several days... More

The cottage was clean and comfortable with everything you need. The kitchen is modern, although we didn't use it. Enjoy a walk along the beach at sunset with beautiful views of the coastline. There is no restaurant on site but there are great places to eat just a few minutes down the road. We only wish our stay was longer.

This property has to be one of the finest and best maintained I've ever stayed at. I booked my reservation 6 months before arrived. We had the beachcomber cottage. Strongly suggest that you try and reserve this piece of paradise. When you drive down the road to the main house, the view of the cottages and bay are breath taking.... More

This is a truly breathtaking piece of property. Beautifully decorated cottages, amazing ocean view right from the front porch, very comfortable beds, gorgeous beach for a long walk or a bonfire. Grocery store and deli/coffee house just a few minutes away.We were all so happy here. Will definitely come back and stay for a few days.Worth every penny :)

Everything was new and modern. Cleaner then clean. Beds comfortable. Kitchen had everything we needed. BBQ, Easy Beach Access, Bonfires wood provides. I would never stay anywhere else. Easy to find. Could easily stay a week. Even a box of beach toys.

Staff is very nice, the room was immaculate when we arrived and the location was beautiful. We would definitely stay here again. Not certain of the view as the area was foggy for our one day stay, but we were right next to the beach and able to hear the waves through the night. Would definitely stay here again.
