This hotel is a bit dated but the room and common areas were clean and the staff was warm and friendly. The restaurant had some excellent servers with wonderful personalities, and the food was good. The area does not strike me as a destination stop but a good location as a spring board to the Cabot Trail. It is a... More

NOT WORTH THE PRICE! Travelled with 2 adults and 2 teens in 2Q room. Room was ok, beds were not comfy. Bathroom was severely outdated. Location was great though. We stayed there for our 15th anniversary and thy did absolutely nothing special for us. Plus they would only let 2 of us have the "free" breakfast, said because i booked... More

Very crowded this year in Cheticamp, but Laurie's is convenient and right on the Cabot Trail. No air conditioning but this would rarely be a problem across the street from the ocean. Restaurants are nearby and a buffet breakfast comes with the room.

Booked this place based on the pictures in the advisor. When we drove up, it looked a bit dated but was very surprised that this room was so clean and bed(s) - 2 queen - were very comfortable. It was a bit dated, but that was okay for us. We stayed on the 2nd floor with the balcony and had... More

Stayed two nights as part of a bus tour. It is the only hotel in town that is large enough to handle 40 plus people. Rooms were average at best but beds were good. Staff were good and friendly, a plus. Breakfast was good but dinner was subpar. There are very few hotel choices in Cheticamp as it is a... More

When we booked it was for the house with 5 bedrooms but were told it was for the house with 2 bedrooms when I called the day before to verify it. Since we were going to a family reunion we kept it because we didn't know if there would be anything available in the area at this short notice, Not... More
