This motel is super clean, very comfortable with ample parking and a great view from the shared patio deck. It is basic reliable accommodation in a great location. You can walk to the many local restaurants and the innkeeper has solid advice on where to eat and what to do. Although it is a bit old - my wife and... More

We are budget travelers, and the Acadian was just right for us. Yes, the room and furnishings are dated, but they're quite comfortable, which is what matters when we travel. There was plenty of light in the room, which is important for reading, and the room was more spacious than most. 'Pop' was very friendly, and gave us great advice... More

After travelling and hiking with best friends we welcomed the large water/road view patio for happy hour. The owners sense of humor entertaining. The rooms vintage but impeccably clean and comfortable and off season rate fantastic. Always a must to be in walking distance for dinner and breakfast.

Excellent location, clean room, comfortable beds, refrigerator, microwave oven, efficient air conditioner. Furnishings a bit dated. Excellent value off-season. "Pop" has a wry sense of humor - "Internet will cost you an extra $100 a day." No in-room coffee maker, but "Pop" has coffee and ice in the office at no extra charge. He's also a good source of information... More

No phone in the room had to use the owners phone which he timed and charged me money to do so. Can't believe I had to pay money to this nasty unfriendly creature to make a collect call to home. There was a pay phone outside building but the keys stuck could not use. Rooms are outdated, bed is small... More

Older styled rooms, however you can see the owners take care of the place and clean it really well. The owners were very helpful in recommending places to eat and best times to leave to get to our next destination. Also knowing we had three young kids they tried to accommodate so they didn't all have to sleep in same... More

I'm ok with vintage, but not when it comes to a bed. Not sure what size that was, but less than queen, and less than comfortable. It was clean, the room smelled quite strongly of some cleaner. Overall a completely ordinary experience, and we would go elsewhere if we were to repeat the visit. Great location though.

We stayed here after completing the Cabot Trail. The manager was very friendly. The hotel room was on the end next to the road so we thought it would be noisy but with the windows closed it was fine. The decor is vintage but the rooms are quite clean and the bathroom was big. A full size bed would have... More

Clean rooms, air conditioned, big bathrooms and just down the street from great food and entertainment. If you don't like to cuddle then stay somewhere else as the beds are doubles We were fine with it:)

One night stay but it was great. Check in was a breeze with Ron. The room was exactly what I was looking for and expected. A typical mom and pop motel that does well as it was full. No surprise to me. WiFi was great too. Not too far from everything was a bonus. Cool view to see cows across... More
