Veronica is gracious and has a rich personal history and knowledge of the Cheticamp. The accommodations were quiet spacious, clean, and inviting. The breakfasts were delicious especially the muffins full of blueberries and the whole wheat pancakes. Coffee was of good quality and strong too. The big sign on the highway greatly assisted us in knowing where to turn and... More

Only had one night here as we were traveling the Cabot Trail. Cheticamp is wonderful, and the Outfitters B&B was a very relaxing place to stay. Rooms are clean, quiet and comfortable, and the location up on the hill overlooking the water is excellent. Veronica is one of those people you feel as though you've known your whole life ..... Highly recommend this b&b. Veronica, the innkeeper is warm and inviting. The rooms are very clean. You can tell this family takes great pride in providing a wonderful experience. Tasty breakfast. Very reasonably priced.

Cheticamp Outfitters is a wonderful B&B with fabulous hosts Veronique and Gilles who are from the area. We spent 3 nights there. The B&B (no longer an outfitter operation) is nestled in the hills located about 5 minutes from the southern edge of town where there about 10 restos. It is not right on the water but has an amazing... More

The couple who run this b and b are really wonderful. We happened to end up at the Doryman's Pub for dinner and music. They were also dining there and invited us to join them. We spent a delightful hour with them telling us all about life in Cheticamp, an Acadian enclave. We learned so much more just from that... More

Veronica, the owner and host, is very warm, hospitable, and a pleasure speaking with. The place was built by her husband, who, from the looks of it, is highly talented. They both have lovely Acadian accents, and are clearly very family-oriented. The property has a beautiful view. It's on a hill overlooking many acres of greenery. As I had to... More

We stayed here the last 3 nights of our trip to Nova Scotia and Newfoundland. We couldn't have picked a more lovely stop to end our vacation. We stayed in the chalet, which is very spacious, with a separate bedroom and an efficiency kitchen. It sits atop a hill, beautiful views outside the many windows in the sitting area. Veronique... Location, cleanliness, spirited, thanks in part to Veronica, an incredible owner, Artist, and cook. Best Blueberry muffins Canada can offer, a magnificent beginning prepping for the Skyline Trail to hike, beauty unending. Bring your camera. The views are beyond splendid. Highly recommend this native style facility. Would do it again if out that way, which may occur in due time.... More

This B&B was located up on a hill with good views (though our room overlooked the parking lot and cars in front of our window blocked any views. There are good views, though, from the deck of the main building. We were in room 5 of an outer building. It was spacious and very clean, and had a coffee maker... More

Veronica is a fine cook and artist. Her husband is the carpenter who built the whole place. It is in Point Cross, a six minute drive south of Chéticamp. The beds and linens are new. Breakfast consisted of pancakes (family recipe) bacon, eggs, French Toast, and her famous blueberry muffins. Very helpful suggestions about where to eat and what to... More
