We enjoyed our stay and the recent reviews are accurate. We were in the chalet out back and I recommend it. Veronique and Gilles are great hosts and breakfast was very good. A great place to start (or end) the Cabot Trail.

We were on our way to drive and hike the Cabot Trail and decided Cheticamp was the easiest place to start from. It appeared that the Outfitters B&B was the best place in town, and we were certainly delighted with our visit. Veronique is a very enthusiastic and warm hostess, full of great ideas for where to eat and explore.... More

If you're planning a visit to Cape Breton (and if not - why not?) this is the best B&B on the island. Cheticamp is the gateway to the Cape Breton Park and closest to the best hikes in the area. It is also an immersion into the true Acadien culture. Veronique and Giles are so knowledgeable about the area, the... More

We stayed at the Cheticamp Outfitters B&B for one night while touring the Cabot Trail. When we arrived we were met by Veronique, who is a lovely host. She had prepared an entire handwritten page of suggestions on local restaurants, things to do, and options for entertainment. She told of about a world-renowned fiddle player who was playing at a... We stayed at the Cheticamp Outfitters B&B for three nights in late July, with our 8-year-old son and 11-year-old daughter, and we have great memories from this place! We rented rooms #1 (queen bed) and #3 (2 twin beds) and had a huge amount of space and total privacy. With both bedrooms, we had the main lower floor house entrance... More

Veronica is so friendly! We sat down together when we arrived and she made a whole "Cheticamp Itinerary" for us. She was not trying to "sell us" on anything, but her info was invaluable. We had many of the same interests and did almost all the items she suggested. The B&B sits on a hill above and away from the... More

We booked this B&B just shy of a month prior to our intended travel date, as it was one of the few locations that still had availability. This is not intended to devalue the property, though - it was a most pleasant location and we were happy with our stay. The property is located at the top of a hill... More

We loved this place and the whole area! The staff is so friendly, they feel like family members. The location was perfect and close to everything you'd want to do in the area. (National park, hiking, whale watching, food, etc.) We had the chalet and it was just perfect. Wonderful views of the sea and highlands. The best part was... More

Without a doubt the very best B&B we have stayed in. Veronic was fantastic and so was the room and the generous breakfast. I would recommend Cheticamp Outffiters to all who visit Cape Breton without hesitation.
