My wife and two kids have been coming here for the past 5 years and we LOVE the property but after this experience we are done with this place. I booked trailer #146 as I have done in the past. Upon arrival which went smoothly we went to our trailer and started to enter the trailer but were greeted by... More

We stayed here one night. When we arrived the lady at the desk believed it was more important to make several phone calls then check us in. The staff were rude and could care less if we stayed. Incredibly cramped camp ground with little to no privacy. We would not return. Only nice point is the beach but even that... More

We booked two sites and were thankfully at the end of a row, the sites were very close and inclined, but the closeness is typical of a commercial campground as compared to a provincial park, so this is nothing unique to Plage St-Pierre. We were only there one night, the laundry roo is clean and spacious, big washing machine/ dryers,... More

My family and I have visited this campground every summer for over 30 years. My children grew up camping at Plage St-Pierre and now my grandchildren are doing the same...I am shocked reading the negative reviews and find it hard to believe anyone would have a bad experience at this campground...throughout the winter, my family and friends are always discussing... August 2013: The campground is in a lovely setting on Cheticamp Island, just a 10 minute drive from Cheticamp. There is a nice sandy beach. Just beware of the right-hand side (as you face the water) of the beach, where the septic system seeps onto the beach. It’s easy to see, from the funny-coloured water oozing out of the bank.... More

this is a non-biased first hand review for July 2013 upon entering the campground my family of me and my husband and 3 children went to pay for a tent lot, this was overly priced coming in just under $40 for one night, the campground is tiny and the lots are very small, ours was covered in fire ashes. We... More

I've been going to plague at Pierre since I was 2. And I still enjoy going. Everything there is fun to do, but not everyone is the nicest. Some of the adults seem to have a lack of respect for the teenagers there. Its never boring there and their are always things to do. If you're a kid, I suggest... More

I reserved a 3-way hookup about a month and a half ahead to make sure I could get a lot near my friends. I chose a lot that was empty that I preferred and reserved my spot. They then called me 2 weeks later to tell me they switched my lot since a bigger trailer was coming in. I checked... More

My husband and I rented one of the available trailers in the campground for the labor day weekend. Very clean campground and the trailer was spotless. The trailer is fully equipped, the only thing missing was soap and shampoo (we brought our own anyway). Beach was nice. Very good place for children...small park, mini-putt, pool table. Huge laundry room. People... More

I just wanted to take the time to write a review about the Plage St Pierre Campground in Cheticamp, NS. Myself, my husband and our toddler just spent this past weekend there. It is my 2nd weekend there this year and 1 weekend last year. I can not say enough positive things about this campground. There are lots of great... More
