We and our friends stayed at Auld Farm House Inn for three nights and thoroughly enjoyed it. Our rooms were nice and the hosts were excellent hosts. They knew the area well and recommended great places to visit while there. The breakfasts were loved by everyone and they did special orders for for me (celiac). The gluten free muffins and... More

Jan and Glen were wonderful hosts. Called Donelda's Puffin Boat Tours (highly recommended) if the tour would be on the next day, and they told us a lot about the region and gave us plenty of great tips for our route. The breakfast was excellent. We felt very comfortable in the spacious room, it was very clean and tidy.

Very engaging host with an outstanding breakfast. Explore the green house they have next to the barn. They are starting a flower business. Good night sleep on a comfortable bed. We left the window open all night - very little road noise for a great night's sleep. Make sure you see the Bell Museum about five miles away.

My teenage daughter and I spent 3 nights at the Auld Farm Inn and I would highly recommend it. Glen and Jan, the owners, were extremely friendly and helpful. Each day they provided advice on the best places to visit, shortcuts and tips, as they are very knowledgeable about the area. Their advice on taking a ferry to bypass some... More

The B&B is wonderfully located for visiting the fascinating museum about Alexander Graham Bell in Baddeck. Our room was lovely, clean and comfortable. The owners were a delight and made sure we had everything we needed. Breakfast was excellent as well. Highly recommended.

My husband and I had the opportunity for a brief getaway, but it was during the peak of the off-season at the end of March. Hardly anything was open, but with the help of Jan and Glen, we were able to find some enjoyable things to see and do. They were so hospitable, gracious and very helpful. Unfortunately, I have... Stayed here overnight on our way to halifax. Beautiful property, our room and bathroom was very clean and the bed was really comfy. You can hear some creaks during the night but that's understandable for an old house. What I always remember fondly is the breakfast for the following day, those overnight french toast was just really amazing! Wifi was... More

We stayed here as part of a 4 week trip to the Maritime Provinces and were very pleased. The Inn looks like an old farmhouse and is clean and comfortable. We had a room that had a separate entrance and was on the first floor. We had reservations for one night, but asked to stay for an additional night due... More

We stayed with Jan & Glen for four days and were very comfortable at this B&B. Many of the guests staying at time knew each other from previous visits, and along with our hosts, went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The room was very clean and towels were changed daily. Shampoo, soap, and a hair dryer... More

We're glad that you experienced the unique atmosphere of Auld Farm Inn while you stayed with us. We are lucky to have such a wonderful group of people who return every year to stay with us during the Celtic Colours Festival and as you noted, some of them are B&B owners themselves, which is a wonderful endorsement for us. We... More
