We stayed 3 nights in the Lighthouse Room. It is the only room overlooking the water and what a view. It is spotlessly clean!!! There are several common areas (inside and outside) so there was somewhere each evening to sit and relax before retiring to our room. We booked a room last minute and checked in fairly late in the evening. We had to check in at the Telegraph Motel down the street - not really convenient, but it didn't really bother us. We stayed in the Lighthouse room which had great views across the lake. Although the Dunlop Inn is an old property it has been well modernised and is very comfortable. We were lucky to have booked early and stayed in the Lighthouse Room...which is the only room with a view of the lake from my understanding. This was a pleasant surprise. The waterfront location is superb, and breakfast in the sunny kitchen was delightful.I was up early for sunrise photography, which I was able to do right from the deck and wharf next door.
