We were in Baddeck at about 4 PM and did not have any reservations so we contacted Auberge Gisele's Country Inn. They had a vacancy and the hotel is in a great location so we decided to stay. It is only blocks from the main part of town and close to the Alexander Graham Bell Museum. It is located directly... More

I am a bit confused about the term "Auberge"; it really relates to an intimate property rather than a 78 room hotel, but there you are; it is hardly a B & B either! The hotel is very pleasant; it has a fabulous location, and the old building does retain a certain charm. It is, however, devoid of public space;... More

We stayed here in June with a tour group and were very pleased with the hotel. The room was large with king sized beds and upscale lines. the beds were very comfortable. Bathroom was large with shower. There is a restaurant on site, within walking distance to town/shops. The grounds are lovely. It is a very pretty setting for the... More

Stayed here as part of a Caravan tour and it was an amazing place to stay. It is within walking distance to the town of Baddeck and it has the feel of a Bed and Breakfast. The rooms are decorated with valances and soft colors. The rooms were immaculate and the service was great. The food in the restaurant is... More

Looked at several unimpressive motel type resorts in Baddeck then looked at Gisele's which while in a similar price bracket is superior in every way. The charming receptionist gave us keys to check out a couple of different room options and we decided on the lower priced 2 double beds . The room was fairly large , tastefully decorated, scrupulously... More

We stayed 2 nights here while on a Caravan tour of Nova Scotia. We'd return here as private party. Rooms were adequate size and clean, meals in restaurant were very good, including breakfast. Town is a nice tourist stop. Grounds are beautiful, green and well maintained. We were here for fall foliage and it was beautiful.

We stayed here two nights. The room was fairly large and comfortable. The beds were comfortable as well. The restaurant served good meals. I had seafood cakes for dinner one night which were very good. The breakfast was good also with a decent selection with good coffee. It is near the Alexander Graham Belll museum.

Lovely place very good location for Cape Breton and Alexander Graham Bell museum. The room was a bit chintzy for us, but very comfortable. Dinner was very nice. Breakfast was slightly limited compared to other hotels.

Friendly folks and very accommodating. It's a big property but the rooms have that "bed and breakfast" feel. Clean and comfortable. I was less that overwhelmed by the quality of the meals. They have one or two tour buses arriving daily and the dinner hour takes on a bit of a chow hall feeling. OK but not exceptional. Not much... More

While on a tour of Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island & Cape Breton, we stayed at Gisele's Country Inn in Baddeck. It was excellent. Rooms were spotlessly clean and beautifully furnished. We had breakfast there each morning and it was very good. Also had dinner there one night and it was superb. The stuffed sole with fresh vegetables was wonderful.... More
