We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly. The grounds were beautifully manicured. There is a very nice quaint restaurant on the hotel grounds where we had a lovely breakfast for a very reasonable price. I would recommend this hotel and would stay there again if we travel... More

This hotel is in a great location sitting on top of a hill with beautifully manicured grounds. The rooms were dated but clean and comfortable with ample space and nicely decorated - although my husband didn't appreciate all the pillows and "fluff":-) The common areas were also clean and well maintained. We enjoyed sitting on a beautiful terrace in the... More

We stayed one night in baddeck only, the inn was great in terms of location and a short walk to the Main Street. The room was ok but somewhat noisy early am with neighbors above us. The highlight for us was the ceilidh that takes place nightly during the summer. Room was clean and pretty comfortable overall.

We came across this place as we were trying to locate a hotel on our road trip. It was only $129 for a queen size room. It was a quaint place. The room was very comfortable and it seemed like it was a lot of seniors there. But it was very clean and convenient.

We stayed at the Gisele for two nights as part of the Caravan Nova Scotia tour. Our room was 110 with a window facing the patio in front of the restaurant. It was very clean, and well maintained. It had a queen size bed, and love seat, and felt spacious. The bathroom was a little small, but comparable to most... More

What can you say about this inn, great staff, great location and to top it all a great evening meal. The three of us only stayed one night. To be highly recommended. Also a trip to the Alexander Graham Bell historic site is well worth the cost. (What a smart guy) B,D &M

We didn't stay here but had a wonderful dining experience. The tables were set nicely and the service was excellent. To top it off, the food was cooked well and was fresh and tasty, far better than most of the other places we've dined at in Nova Scotia. Between the four of us, we had good freshly shucked oysters, lobster... More

We stayed 2 nights as part of a tour. Although a nice looking Inn this was our least favourite hotel on the tour. The room was quite large but a bit over the top for our tastes and the carpet was very badly marked/faded. Compared with the other hotels the bathroom was on the small side.we had breakfast on both... More

My mom and I got to the hotel a little early because we woke up at PEI at 5 am. We were allowed to check in earlier than normal, which we really appreciated. The hotel was wonderful. I can't think of anything we didn't like. We also ate dinner twice and breakfast once at the restaurant, which was good. We... More

The room we had was clean and well appointed but overlooking a parking lot. There is no discount for rooms without a view. Buses picking up guests early in the morning created lots of unnecessary noise for other guests who wanted to sleep past 6a.m. The rooms are dated with heavy Victorian colors and accents . We were advised that... More
