I stayed here recently with 10 of my students from Scotland. The rooms were fine, basic enough but exactly what I expected for the price. Audrey and Harry who run the Ceilidh Lodge were so welcoming. The service we received was fantastic. They were such lovely people, and very kind to my teenage students. Any time I emailed with questions... More

We spent one night here in August 2015 as we toured the Cabot Trail. We had stayed before at the sister property, the Inverary Inn and Resort, but this time wanted a slightly less expensive stay as we required two rooms. Our reservation was as planned, and both rooms were in great shape. It was an incredibly hot and humid... More

The reception and breakfast area is in a nice old building set in lovely gardens. Rooms are in motel blocks around the grounds. Our room was small, but fine with 2 beds. You could only view the tv from one bed. We arrived before check-in and they did their best to get us in a bit early

After a long drive, we arrived tired, hungry and late. A stroll across the road brought us to a great pub then back to the clean and very comfortable room for what was the best sleep we had in weeks on the road. The bed was very very comfortable and cozy and the hosts made sure we felt at home.... More

The room is more than adequate in size, clean as a whistle, quiet and in a very nice setting. What could be better! We are only a 5 minute walk from the cutest town around. Plenty of interesting shops, a beautiful harbour with tour options, and music everywhere. We were taught to dance the reel last night at the town... More

The hotel it self was fine. It was clean, and comfortable. The breakfast was adequate. We had asked, however, about local places to listen to music. Not wanting a full concert with our young kids, we decided on a pub with music. We were told the hotel's Pub had live music that night which sounded perfect. They said it started... More

The room was quite dated but overall no issues with cleanliness. The breakfast was pretty decent as well. The greatest draw back I'd say would be to anyone traveling with children and to any women with long hair. The water pressure was horrible so I opted not to wash my hair as it would have take forever to get the... More

I expected a lot more from this hotel. The furnishings were scratched and out dated. The bedding was old and tacky. The bathroom had an old yellow toilet and tub! The staff were unprofessional and did not follow proper procedures for checking in. They gave my key to someone who said they were with me on the trip! This was... More

Great people and very pet friendly. The buildings are beautifully kept but the interior rooms are really dated. Could really benefit from a refresh. Lovely morning breakfast. It was great for an overnight stay. The lodge is attached to a larger complex which may have offered higher end product.

Stopped over in baddeck and decided to stay someplace new (we've stayed several times at the inverary). The folks here were super nice and helpful (I'd forgotten my toothbrush ). The room had a great view and was nice enough and clean and we had a great sleep ! Highly recommended!
