We had one of the queen bedrooms in the back of the hotel (room 18), there were others across the hall that had balconies that were a bit nicer. Overall it was clean, nicely decorated, good option. A bit overpriced at $135 per night, but if there was a good deal I would stay there again. We booked late so... More

We stayed in Baddeck on our way to the Newfoundland ferry. Our room, which was where Alexander Graham Bell supposedly slept, was in the main hotel. The room's decor was dated but the bed was comfortable giving us a good night's sleep. The dining room of the hotel was excellent. It featured locally sourced food, and everything was prepared and... This is a delightful place to stay in the center of Cap Breton. The fifth generation owner's link to area history adds to the charm. Pleasant room, décor appropriate to the style of the place. Also had excellent dinner and a helpful chef who explained the "dry" town which permits the dining room to provide wine, etc., but there are... More

We spent one night here whilst driving the Cabot Trail. There is a main hotel, a motel behind, and 3 cabins. We stayed in one of the cabins. It was simply furnished but clean and quiet. Most importantly, it had a firm and excellent bed. We had a good dinner at the restaurant here, and a nice breakfast at the... More

We spent one night here in late May 2014. My wife was checking local Hotels as we couldn't make the Ferry back to PEI in time. She found this one and called the owner about getting a room for 4 adults. We were surprised to find we had a small cabin to ourselves with two washrooms and a nice little... More

We took the ground floor room off the front porch but also checked out one of the rooms upstairs. Both rooms were in desperate need of updating! Space was tight and amenities sadly lacking. Although there was wifi available we had trouble accessing it from our room and had to go into the lobby or sitting area to check on-line... More

Simply charming, like the town of Baddeck and all we encountered there! Welcoming staff! Cozy room with deck and lake views! Spotless! Divine gluten-free dining, evening meals. What a delightful time!

We booked a room in the motel section. The room was very clean and nice but not very sound proof because we could here the downstairs neighbors very well. Great location near all the main shops and all in walking distance. Great value!

we stayed in one of the motel rooms. It was fine for a stay while traveling about. There was no coffee maker in the room but there was a great cafe over the road which opened early. The staff were very helpful and it was a reasonable price.

Drove into Baddick without a clue where to stay and stumbled on this great place. We looked at the rooms in the Inn. Although they were clean, the decor is a bit outdated, HOWEVER if they have a cottage available, grab it!Awesome! Very cute, updated decor and super clean. Don't let the chipped paint on the outside deter you. Same... More
