The main house had some charming Victorian aspects. The upstairs suite we stayed in was quite nice if you didn't mind going through the storage areas to get to it. Kind of felt like staying in Grandma's attic. The desk staff was indifferent and not very helpful. Dinner in the Inn was fair. Our waiter was maybe 16 and just... More

We stayed here during the March snowmobile Ride for Dads, so this was definitely the off season, but the accommodation was very nice, clean and comfortable. The gentleman who checked us in was very patient and helpful, notwithstanding our wish to change a reservation that had been made through a third party online site. No fridge in room but the... More

Unhelpful reception and very old and dusty decor in dining rooms made this the least appreciated stay on our visit to the Canadian Maritimes. The village is an interesting place and the trip on the sailboat made up for the disappointment in the accommodation.

It was a nice room. The bed was comfortable and the staff were very nice. Nice modern, large, bright bathroom and a small balcony. There was a Coffee pot too. It was a reasonable price for the room. The only thing that would have been better, would have been nice to have a larger television as my husband and I... More

My husband and I recently stayed at the Lynwood Inn for 2 nights during Celtic Colours. The owner of this property should be aware that the lady on the day shift who greets and checks people in, should not be doing this job. She was unfriendly, snippy, uninterested, with very little personality. There wasn't one smile during the interaction we... More

We have been in Nova Scotia and New Brunswick for a week and stayed in several B&B's and a Best Western in Halifax. All were much nicer than Lynwood Inn. Room is well-worn, only small packets of toiletries, linens like Motel 6, we knew no breakfast, but no coffee pot in our room. No elevator, we were on the 3rd... More

The room we had was very comfortable and nicely furnished. It was bright and cheery. The staff are all very pleasant and accommodating. The restaurant is very good and the servers have a great sense of humour.

we stopped here to check it out as we were going to stay the following week and wanted to see what the accomodations offered. While the lady at the front desk had no problem giving us a couple of keys to check out the rooms and offer any info she could. They seemed cleaned an modern, the two rooms we... More

We can't speak highly enough about our stay at Lynwood Inn. Traveling with friends and arriving in Nova Scotia from PEI in the morning we expected a quiet drive to Baddeck, however a situation arose where we had to go to the Annapolis Valley for a few hours, delaying our arrival at the Lynwood Inn. We eventually arrived at 10:28pm,... More

Well, where do you start... We spent a night at the Inn and I must say I am happy that is all we stayed. The evening before we were to arrive in Baddeck, my wife received a phone call saying that they would like to change our room from the one that we had booked to accommodate another client who would...
