This place was recommend by the tourist information office. I paid $89/night in peak season. Many hotels have vacancies so their is a lot of choice. I picked this because of the fabulous view. The owner was extremely helpful with a description of the area and what to do. My room is very nice, some retro features that reminds me... More

We stumbled across this highway motel as we were leaving Baddeck in search of a cheap place to spend the night. For our money we got a simple, plain but spotlessly clean room with WiFi and air conditioning. The continental breakfast was very simple and fresh and it was great to eat with real cutlery and crockery instead of the... More

The rooms were OK but the community roon was great: big windows overlooking the lake. Computer available for guest use. Adequate breakfast. Very quiet except for so highway noise. Bottom line: a good value close to town.

Finished driving for the night and saw the Baddeck Inn up on the hill and their sign said breakfast was included. The room was nice enough, although we couldn't get the WiFi to work in the room. It did work fine in the common area. Breakfast was continental and although simple, everything was fresh. The motel sits far enough off... More

Location was good, although you will need to drive to get to somewhere to eat, takes approx 10 minutes into Baddeck. Room was very clean and comfortable, and was everything we required for our one night stay. Lake view from the room was lovely, and great to watch the sun set and sun rise. Breakfast was basic, but was satisfactory.... More

Small motel 8 rooms, perched on a hill overlooking the highway and the water. The rooms were "retro" but very clean. Small tv attached to the wall BESIDE the bed. (Impossible to view from bed). The shower did not have temperature sensitive controls, so if someone in another unit flushed their toilet you would be scalded, or if they turned... More

Sitting on a hill overlooking the Bras D'or Lake there is a wonderful view from your room. If you have alergies, etc. I would suggest requesting rooms 3-5 which have wood floors. Rooms are clean and beds are comfortable. Rooms have a bar fridge and coffee maker. WiFi was hit and miss. Fabulous common room with computer access and better... More

The Inn may be facing Bras D'Or Lake, it's also on the highway into the town of Baddeck. It's far from everything. The room smelled musty, the carpets and chairs were stained. The patio door didn't lock and the screen had holes. There were no windows. The breakfast was toast and "paper cereals", yogurt and so-so coffee. Would never return.

Amazing price, lovely service. Rooms are very retro but SPOTLESS,bright and at $95 who could complain. Each room has a patio door with an amazing view of the water. Fridge in room as well as a coffee pot. Walking distance to Tim hortons. A/c in the rooms. I could lay on the bed and watch boats on the lake. Feels... More

I have to agree with all the reviews this place has received so far. I arrived at 3AM in the morning - the desk person was cranky because they were not aware that we were getting in very early in the morning due to the flight into Halifax and then the drive from the airport to Baddeck. Note: You might... More
