This is one of the most comfortable places we stayed on our NS adventure. Sue and Art are a precious couple full of love for each other and the inn. It is quite clear. The beds are comfortable. Breakfast is relaxed and absolutely delicious in a pretty and relaxed dining room. Sue's love for pretty dishes and good food is... More

We stayed here for 3 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay, was sorry to leave this morning....Sue and Art are so warm and welcoming. Go out of their way to make your stay perfect...sue went out of her way to give us a ride back to the room from downtown as we got caught in the rain and as busy... More

Our stay in Rm 3, a spacious King room was great. Sue is a wonderful and friendly host. She made our stay! The breakfast was more than enough, and the location is wonderful. Walking distance to most sights. Our Wi Fi worked fine.

She made the place! She actually washed our clothes for us without charge. This allowed us to have an evening out and go to the local celildh that evening. Breakfast was excellent with eggs Sue made. The room was large and comfortable but had no air conditioning. the only downside was that there were extension cords that were too short... More

We stayed at the High Street Inn for three nights in total. Each night was absolutely wonderful; impeccably clean room, very comfortable bed, and everything you'd need provided in the room. I can't say enough good abt. the hosts Sue and Art!

We stayed two nights when we drove the Cabot Trail. Our room was in the separate building. It was large and comfortable. The wifi was marginal, which Sue made a note of to talk to her IT person. The breakfasts were delicious. Sue was very pleasant and even supplied us with a homemade treat to take with us for our... More

This was our second year staying at the High Street Inn and we will be back again! Very friendly service from Sue and her husband. The rooms are up to date and clean with all the amenities from home. We had two kids with us and felt very welcomed at breakfast and playing in the back yard on small trampoline.... More

We toured Cape Breton and enjoyed our stay at the High Street Inn. Baddeck is a nice little town to use as a base. The room was comfortable and we had access to a deck to enjoy the sun. A nice breakfast was provided and even hot homemade biscuits one day. Susan and Art were very welcoming.

Even though the Inn was closed for the week, it was opened especially for us. We were two couples who had driven hundreds of miles longing for warmth and comfort. Luxury was what we got for a very low price. Plus a delicious breakfast. Of our 6 week trip through Canada, the High Street Inn was the very best place... More

Comfortable large rooms Quaint breakfast room opposite. stairs everywhere, our landlady was called away on urgent family matters, we were left to cope with a blocked toilet. when she returned she got everything sorted as she was a lovely lady. KIds ran amok till late.I think it had a for sale sign.
