When you cycle it's always much more comfy to not sleep in a tent. And this bed was just amazing, I slept better than ever. Clean bathroom, free coffee and listening to some music on the TV made my day!!! Thanks Cathy and Tom. I really appreciate any help during my travels! <3

Spent two nights at the Cabot. The owner and staff are absolutely terrific. Accommodations are just what you would expect......clean, comfortable and useable. Satellite tv, deck overlooking the lake and a restaurant for breakfast and dinner (although the owner did offer to make sandwiches for lunch as the weather was to wet to ride). This motel should rate serious consideration... More

5 of us stayed in 2 rooms over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend and couldn't have picked a better place to stay! Rooms were very clean and staff was very helpful and great to talk with! The restaurant served turkey dinner and was just like mom makes. The meals were awesome ! We are already planning a trip over this summer... More

Our stay was pleasant as were the staff. Room was clean. View was spectacular. Sunrise amazing. Breakfast was good and reasonably priced. To those who are expecting a 5 star resort I suggest not stopping at a Motel.

Room was small with dank/mildew smell. Only 2 very small pillows on queen sized bed. Very hard mattress. Plug missing from bathtub, made do with a paper cup. Taped broken TV remote came apart if not held tightly. From the outside, a very attractive property but would not pre-book as would not want to stay there again without having checked... More

Stayed 3 nights, room was very clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I would recommend this motel for any one visiting the area. The current owners have only been there this year and are making improvements. The only thing we could improve on the room we had was the carpeting, it was clean but dated and needs... More

We had the room at the front, next to the office and restaurant. It was very noisy as we could here them banging dishes and pots around until after 10 pm. It was distracting when watching TV as well. Lovely view from that room but would have been better one or two rooms over from where we were. Food in... More

Rooms are so-so. A bit on the humid/old/tired side. Could benefit from some renovation. The manager lady was very friendly and extremely helpful. The breakfast (not included in the price) was very good - excellent omelets. Convenient location if you are biking, close to the beginning of the Cabot Trail.

Older, cheaper look to motel but so is the price. We just wanted a place to rest our head before we headed for home the next day. Bed was comfy. The restaurant was packed at 7 pm and we didn't get our food until after 8 pm after getting up at 4:30 am to catch the NL ferry. The table... More

We had room 48, which has a great view of the lake. We found the room clean, fairly up to date (maybe not brand new) and had enough room. The bathroom was also clean and fairly up to date and everything worked great. The A/C worked good, as did the TV. The restaurant food was good, but the service was... More
