My daughter and I stayed at Reid's Tourist home for a wonderful week, it was very relaxing and comfortable, The Reid's were very friendly and very helpful to us. We enjoyed the beautiful scenery over looking the beautiful Bay of Fundy and the Village. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a place to stay in Advocate Harbour. Thank you so... More

We stayed in the cottage close to the owners' main house for two days. When we arrived, the owners greeted us warmly, but we were asked to pay in advance despite we had given our credit card info when we made reservations. This is the only case we were asked to do so in our three-week trip in Ontario, Nova... More

We were just passing through to PEI on Saturday night. We were referred to the Tourist Home by another hotelier. Really peaceful experience. We stayed in the former bunkhouse that has been converted into 4 rooms like a motel. You are literally in the parking lot of a working farm with scattered farm vehicles and barns but that's what makes... More

The Reid's are so friendly and welcoming. Our room was spotless and had a sitting area in the front and a bedroom in the back. Advocate Harbor is a lovely town and would love to go back and spend a couple of weeks -- I feel like I left a piece of my heart there. There is not one souvenir... More

We stayed here during our Nova Scotia vacation. The owners were very helpful, the rooms were clean. We stayed at both cottages. Very good value for 4 of us. The cottages are a bit spartan. Overall, we were ok with our stay. Unfortunately, my wife has a bad back and is particularly picky about bed firmness, and both cottages' mattesses... More

We stayed one night in room 2, one of the four double rooms on offer at Reid's. The owner was really welcoming and the rooms were both spotlessly clean and well appointed. When I was having trouble with the strength of the wifi signal I was invited to go to the office area to see if that would help but... More

A pleasant stay in a large, airy cottage. Spotlessly clean, with a well stocked kitchen. Great view of the Bay of Fundy, and pleasant hostess. Only very minor drawback was the background noise of a working farm, which the children all slept through.

We so enjoyed our stay at Reid's Century Farm home. We were in the Homestead Cottage. It includes a living room, kitchen and 3 bedrooms. Plenty of space to spread out. The outside deck had a spectacular view of the Bay and of nearby pastures. We enjoyed cooking a couple of meals, but also loved our meal at the nearby... More

We stayed for two night in a separate small house/cabin that could sleep 5. It is self-catering so we went to the Wild Caraway one night and The Lighthouse on Cape d'Or the other. Breakfast was at the gas station/shop. Anyway the Reid family make you very welcome. The only problem was wifi signal was no good so I had... More

We stayed through a June weekend at Ried's Tourist Home & Cottages, renting the Bay Vista Cottage, our favourite. We ate at the nearby Wild Caraway Restaurant, wandered and photograhed Advocate Beach, Advocate Harbour, Cape d'Or, and a bit further afield in Fraserville and Apple River. Such a wonderful balm for the soul. The cottage was clean and neat as... More
