This restaurant and cafe offers an excellent menu and a choice of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. There are two rooms above the restaurant that are very cozy and offer a view of the Advocate Harbour as well as a choice of seeing the sunrise (room 1) or sunset (room 2). There is a beautiful garden full of flowers (both edible... More

My boyfriend and I stayed here for one night as the sea kayak tour we wanted to do in the bay of Fundy was very close by! When we arrived the restaurant was full and soon closing but she knew we hadn't eaten yet as there isn't much around so she gave us a table after everyone left! so nice... More

Blue Room - Above the restaurant but quiet/no odors when asleep. Comfortable queen bed/chair with view of the Bay of Fundy from the big window. Luggage just fit. Bathroom - Next door to rooms. Shared but not a problem: bathrobes provided, always clean with individual designer soap and no wait. Breakfast - Savory and Sweet choices. Got us through kayaking... More

We were staying in another community (Parrsboro). We drove here especially to eat at this restaurant. The location was scenic and relaxed. The rooms did look lovely. The service was first-rate and charming.

Our family of four, two adults & two teens, were in the area to kayak. Our guide, as well as a couple on the kayaking tour highly recommended this restaurant. They were not wrong. The food was great. The staff were friendly. The atmosphere was comfortable. The prices were very reasonable. I only wish the restaurant weren't 900 miles away... More

Two rooms with a shared bath are available above the Wild Caraway restaurant. The room was clean and comfortable with a large window overlooking the bay. It is a nice choice if staying in Advocate Harbour as there are not many options. The rooms are older so the doors and floors are a bit squeaky, adds to the charm. The... More

Thanks again Sarah and Andrew for another great stay. Having two French Presses and milk in the fridge for our morning coffee is just the kind of wonderful touch that makes this place so special. The breakfast you served on your "day off" was amazing: fresh sour dough bread, Andrew's own smoked arctic char and other goodies.

Over a year and plenty of hotels later this is still one of our most favourite. The town is very beautiful, you feel like you have the place to yourself, the people that love here are very lucky. Of course, we ate every meal at the wild caraway and each was fabulous. If you are in Nova Scotia, try and... More

The 4 of us booked both upstairs rooms. We had comfortable beds and a great view of the Harbour. There was a coffee brewer, hot water pot, refrig and stocked with everything. We arrived early enough to eat our evening meal there. The food was excellent. The service was friendly and prompt. We were served some complimentary treats and I... More

Three times a year I make the 10 hour drive from Brunswick, ME to Advocate Harbour for the scenery and the food. Since 2009 I have eaten close to 50 meals at the Wild Caraway and never had a bad experience. If your idea of a good meal is an assembly line plate at a franchise, then the Wild Caraway... More
