My husband and I stayed at the Artisan Inn for two nights in late August 2015. What a terrific experience. The inn's staff was outstanding. They gave us the "lay of the land" when we checked in, so we felt immediately at home in the area. During our stay, they gave us good advice on what to do and what... More

This was the highlight of our trip to Newfoundland. The town and its beauty is beyond anything I can discribe in words. The Theatre was wonderful and the staff all over town was outstanding. But the best staff was at the artisan inn. These people went above and beyond. We were there on the long weekend and when our second... More

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Booking and check in was smooth. Our "efficiency" suite was lovely. Even though we didn't prepare meals we appreciated the space. Very clean and nicely decorated. It was convenient for supper. Arrangements were made by staff for the Rugged Beauty Boat Tour and the evening concert with the Ennis Sisters was magical. Convenient for touring Bonavista... More

My sister and I had just one overnight at the wonderful Artisan Inn. It was like stepping into Ireland in the 19th century but with all of the comforts of the 21st. The room was bright and spotless with very comfortable beds. The complimentary breakfast was more than we could eat and the dinner at the Twine Loft was exceptional.... More

It would be completely unfair to compare this establishment with anything but an older quaint sea village house that has been transformed into a fantastic experience. The area is breathtaking & you feel like you have stepped back in time. It's not about the room - it's about the entire experience. Tineke (owner) and Marieke (GM & Sommelier), her daughter,... After hearing that Trinity was worth a visit, I booked a couple of nights at the Artisan Inn (top ranking on TA). We were surprised on how amazing a spot Trinity bay is. This should be on everyone's top 10 list in Nfld. The village is so well preserved, you really feel like you've slipped back 150 years. Working blacksmith,... More

2 nights at the Lighthouse View and 2 dinners at the Twine Loft. All very well done. We are from NL and have travelled extensively. The accommodations are clean and have all the basics including a fully equipped kitchen if so inclined. Plenty to see and do within an hours drive. Skerwink trail was outstanding. Only drawback we arrived at... More

We stayed at the Artisan Inn for four nights in October and it was our favourite accommodation in Newfoundland and Labrador. It really is an experience to stay at this quaint, heritage inn in the beautiful village of Trinity on the Bonavista Peninsula. Staff were incredibly well organized, informative, pleasant and helpful. Our room had character and was clean and... More

We lucked into the Targa race, very exciting! Our accommodation was quaint, cozy in the evenings but the 'kitchen facilities' we're lacking; a microwave would improve the stay. Dinner was delightful but extremely expensive and in mid-September there were limited choices for dining in town. A trip to Bonavista Social Club for pizza is well worth the drive!!

The best part about the Artisan Inn is the staff. They fell over themselves providing us with information about what to do and see; clearly these folks are intent on ensuring their guests get the most out of the Trinity area. Even after we booked into another B&B across the street (no rooms available at the Inn) the owner encouraged... More
