A beautiful view, lovely room, and great breakfeast. We were pampered and felt very special. What a lovely place to linger, and visit all the little villages along the coast. more

Our family visited the town of Trinity in June 2003. Unfortunately our schedule did not include an evening to truly enjoy the theatre, historical sites and beautiful location this town had to offer. When preparing for our third family trip to Newfoundland in June 2009, a two night stay in Trinity was certain. Tineke Gow and her staff were very... more

We stayed at Campbell House for three days in June and loved both the accommodation and Trinity. It is true that there are low ceilings, creaky floors and steep and narrow stairs to the floor with the bedrooms. However, they are all part of the experience of staying in a house that is over 150 years old and has so... more

My wife and I spent two nights during a 12 day trip to Newfoundland. We wish we had spent more. The house dates back to the 1840s is renovated and furnished appropriately and is very comfortable. Trinity is a very beautiful spot and ideally situated as a base for day trips. Tineke the owner is a fountain of knowledge on... more

You will really enjoy the Twine Loft Restaurant! We were staying in Trinity at an inn a few doors down the road, and we were informed by a member of our travel party that our dinner quandry was settled. He had wandered into the Twine Loft Restaurant and had made reservations based solely on the delicious smells coming from the... more

We enjoyed our stay very much. The accomodation was charming and the food very good every time. We woud stay there again in an instant. It was very special to have the whole house to ourselves (we were 2 couples). What could be nicer? more

We found this place after reading many other reviews and they were dead-on perfect for a peaceful stay. This is a quaint, beautifully restored house in the quiet idyllic town of Trinity. We had bad weather (rainy & cold) for most of the time we were there (four days) but had a wonderful time nonetheless as the town is beautiful.... more

We enjoyed our stay at Campbell house and found the traditional house welcoming, clean and comfortable. The breakfast and optional dinner were both tasty and pleasing although it may have been a shock for some that the portions were 'normal' sized rather than the American style over sized, but we did not go away hungry. The owner, family and staff... more

At best this property is a 2 star. The tiny room was musty and very uncomfortable. There was no where to sit and read, no lighting to read by and no room for 2 people to move around. The living room fireplace had a pilot light and although we asked to have the fire lit there was no response. There... more

The loveliness of the experience began with the phone call to the property. Both people I spoke with were interested to help us book a room and make our stay happy. The only room available when I called was a room with twin beds, but I was told they would accommodate us with a double bed if possible--and they did!... more
