We spent one night at this B&B end of August and were not disappointed. It is clean and the room including the bathroom had a good size. We could easily speaks with our host who prepared a very good breakfast. In addition, the view on the Codroy river from the back of the B&B is nice. It is a good... More

We stayed here as an overnight to catch the morning ferry to NS. It is in a beautiful quiet scenic area. We had to eat at a cafe for dinner as there were three weddings in the area and the restaurant was closed. Room was clean and comfortable but no air conditioning, but for the price and the great breakfast... More

Rooms and bathrooms were very clean and the owners are awesome and accommodating. I would recommend to anyone to stay here and it's only 1/2 hour from the ferry. Beautiful scenery and quiet place. There's a cute consignment craft store about ten minutes away - you should visit that too!

Marie took all the time needed to explain us what we could visit and where to do our shopping, she also referred us to the craft shop at Grand Codroy RV Park, they sell locally made crafts and have a great selection. In the morning Gerald provided a lovely breakfast and could provide lost of information on the history of... More

We stayed here after getting off the ferry at Port aux Basques. It is conveniently located and the setting very pretty. Gerald was friendly and offered us suggestions for dinner and then a scenic drive out to the local lighthouse. Our room was clean and good sized. Although the bathroom was rather large, the sink was in the main room... More

We enjoyed our stay here so much the first night we were in Newfoundland, that we stayed here again on our way back to the mainland. It's an easy drive to, and from, the ferry. Clean and comfortable lodging. The best part of the inn - and one of the very best experiences on our whole trip - was spending... More

An easy trip from the ferry from Port Aux Basque and surprisingly easy to find. Gerald was an easy host and made a good breakfast the following morning. Our room was upstairs and small but with a nice bathroom. On our way back to the ferry, after spending two weeks in Newfoundland, we received a message that our ferry was... More

Gerald was a perfect host..we enjoyed our stay and will stay here again if we find ourselves in NL in the future. His B&B is situated on the lake...beautiful view. I loved the ramp..easy to bring in our suitcase and ample parking beside it.

It was easy for us to find this B&B after we got off the ferry in Port aux Basque. Gerald was pruning the bushes but stopped to greet us and show us our room. The room was small, but with a queen-size, comfortable bed. The bathroom had recently been redone and was sparkling new and well-outfitted. Breakfast was early, 7-8.30,... More
