The worse ever experience. The illiterate and ignorant old Chinese lady showed her angry face three times to my seven years old child on a very silly issue- twice in front of all of us. Temperature was -3 but no heating in the bath room. While I informed her this, she replied that no other guests have any problem, why... More

We needed a place to stay near the US border where we could get a pet-free room (because allergies) on the cheap and St Stephen Inn was a perfect fit. (Apparently they only have a handful of pet-friendly rooms, so if that's what you're looking for, call ahead.) We came on the off-season and, having read some previous reviews, asked... More

Boy oh boy, don't stay here. Website is very misleading. This motel has definitely seen better days, about 30 years ago I bet. Pretty filthy rooms. Definitely a "socks on" motel. Only good thing is the price!

We arrived late, without a reservation and tired after a long day's drive. The owner came out in her pyjamas and i apologized for arriving late. No problem! She was lovely, made sure we were comfortable, gave us some suggestion for dinner, and a new password for the internet when the one we had did not work well. The room... More

This motel is very clean and comfortable. While the decor is dated and a little worn, everything was very clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We had everything we needed. It is located right in town. If you can overlook the dated decor, this place is great value for the price. We would not hesitate to stay here... More

First I will say the lady at the desk was amazing, a great person for the hotel business. The structure itself is in terrible condition, I do not believe they are using the 2nd floor rooms of the building detached from the office. It was damp, musty smelling, not very clean, just icky. And I am not one to complain...... More

The wife and I were heading to Boston and decided to stop for the night to rest up and get something to eat before crossing the boarder. As we drove through the small town looking for a place to eat, we notice the St. Stephen inn and decided maybe we should check in somewhere and wash up before we eat.... More

This motel is conveniently located just a short walk from the Ganong museum, restaurants and bars. It was clean, and comfortable. This is not a high class place, but it is a reasonably priced place to spend a night when traveling over the border in either direction.

This was definitely The Motel Time Forgot, pure 1950's. The reception area, stairway, and halls were freezing but the temperature in our room had been turned up just prior to our arrival. Although our bedding and towels were very clean there was an unpleasant odor throughout our unit. With bad weather ahead of us we left as early as possible... More

This motel is probably the cheapest in St. Stephen (not that there are many to choose from in the first place!), but as they say, you get what you pay for. The rooms are like a throwback to the 50s, with lurid green bathtub and toilet! There is no breakfast, no coffee maker, no microwave, just a fridge. The place... More
