There were definitely good things about the Tidal Watch Inn. The property is lovely, and the decor is quaint and charming. Everyone we encountered was pleasant. Our room was very clean, and the bathroom had a skylight, which I enjoyed. We did eat breakfasts and one dinner in the restaurant, and the food was good. We were disappointed that our... More

We stayed one night in October on our way to Maine from Cape Breton, Nova Scotia. This inn is just steps from the Bay of Fundy and a short drive from some famous caves and picturesque covered bridges. The room, in their newer addition, was comfortable despite the unusually cold weather. Breakfast was very good. Be aware that many of... More

We arrived in St Martins without a reservation and our hosts at the Tidal Watch Inn generously accommodated us. We have a nice-sized, clean room that was perfect for our needs. Breakfast was yummy and unrushed. We look forward to returning.

St. Martins is a good stop in NB as it cuts the distance from Moncton to Calais / US in half. You have a good half hour to St. Johns and the Fundy Trail is a nearby attraction of its own. We liked the stay as: there was friendly staff, sizeable beds (Queen) in the main house, a decent breakfast... More

There are two rooms with balconies and a partial view of the bay and we lucked out to have one of them. Room was comfortable and nicely redecorated. Nice touches like wine glasses. Short on amenities - just soap and shampoo. Wifi non existent in the room. You had to sit on the Inn's porch or be in the inn... More

Our room had excellent views of the bay of Fundy. Nice accommodation. Staff very helpful. I requested decaf tea in my room and when we returned from dinner, found it in my room with honey on the side as promised.

After the over-priced chaos that was Bar Harbor, Maine, we were stunned at the reasonable prices offered here. The owners were among the most gracious and accommodating people we have ever met, upgrading our room for a minimal fee. We had a couple of minor issues with the room that they addressed immediately. Staff went out of their way to... More

We thought the TidalWatch Inn would be a good stepping-off point to tackle the Fundy Trail. So sent off our reservation for the best room available. Before we arrived (three months later) I checked the prices. We could have saved CAN$50 per night by waiting and booking later - but no matter, at least we thought booking early we will... More

Currency can be confusing. When you make reservations from a foreign country you pay in that countries currency. Our rates have remained constant all through 2015. The guest stayed 2 nights, since we take a 1 night deposit on booking, they enjoyed a price reduction or so it seemed for the second night because our currency fell against theirs. We... More

To get here was actually quite a drive, but worth it I think. The sea caves near by are much bigger and more beautiful than the pictures I have seen of them. Also, just down the road is two covered bridges close together. Very picturesque! The inn, in my opinion, couldn't be nicer. Our room was super clean, and pleasantly... More

Having stayed in some of the Top B&B accommodations in New Brunswick and Nova Scotia beautifully decorated, superb breakfasts and bedrooms it is difficult to rate a larger standard inn against them. However this is an old property close to Fundy Bay in a nice community but style of decor and furnishings give the impression of fading past glory. (Some... More

Our property consists of 3 buildings and 15 rooms. Some rooms are in buildings built by us while others are in our historic building built in 1900. Each of our 15 rooms is unique and those in our historic section are furnished with some antiques and some modern furnishings. We're sorry you consider our historic furnishings old and worn, they...
