I had the good fortune to stay at the mansion on January 20/15. What a treat!! Michael, the owner, was a great host who bent over backwards to make sure my stay was enjoyable and that I was well taken care of. If you get a chance to speak with Michael, ask about the rich history of the property. Its'... More

Our stay at the Governor's mansion Inn was OK, but was overpriced for the area. We were received by Simone, a very nice lady, but our reservation was not on record. I had brought a copy of the email trail so the documentation was available. We had to work around that fact for a little while, but she rectified the... More

We stayed one night and it was great. Beautiful place - loved all the antiques. Owner very interesting and told us allot about the area. Would have liked to spend more time. Its a city with lots of history.

I'm just back from my third stay at the Governor's Mansion when I was in Miramichi on business and it was like coming home. The owner, Mike, greeted me with a hug, I had my favorite room, and got to have a little gossip in the kitchen with Simone. I can be very fussy about inns--they tend to have poor... More

We stayed in the Lord Beaverbrook Room and the Valet Room. The House is an amazing old Heritage House and it looks really good inside. Outside it would need some work done. The Lord Beaverbrook Room is a big room with some antiques. A bargain for the price. The Valet Room is a little to small and quite hot and... More

Arrived here very late in the afternoon, tired from a 650kms trip of some very scenic travel. The owner couldnt do enough to help us with our planned Irish Kitchen party music evening. The morning breakfast was a very nice treat. The mansion is the original govenors house.,with all the rooms for the hired help. We were given a very nice room... More
