The cliff edge campsites are amazing. We saw whales, seals, and porpoises from our site, along with Swallowtail Light. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Bathroom and laundry facilities are older but clean and functional.

If you're in love with the ocean, the maritimes and/or nature, this is the place for you. The campsites have the most amazing views. From inside our tent, we could watch Porpoises feeding in the Bay! I camped with 3 teenagers and a large dog. The Cliff Top sites are perfect if you're more than 2 people. The campground is... More

Unfortunately our experience of staying at this campground was overwhelmingly negative due to the barrage of fog-related sound. I can well appreciate that the owners cannot control the fog. However, I do think that they have some responsibility for warning campers of this when booking, and we certainly weren’t forewarned. The fact is that fog horns can be heard from... More

The ocean experience is not as serene as expectations might be. We have just had two full weeks with no fog. Thank you for the critique of our reception process. It is a frequent occurance that the information that is forwarded thru our reservation system is altered by the camper after submitting it -- bought a bigger tent, decided they... More

Camped for a weekend a while back and let me tell you this is one of the best camp grounds ive been too! your given spot on the edge of the cliff. quite literally and be careful because there are no fences barriers or whatever. very spacious spot, make sure you have everything because the store on the island costs... great views, great hospitality, what can I say this campground was beautiful for the laid back camper! We visited in 2014 and were extremely happy with our stay. We could not see or here our neighbours! The ocean views were amazing. The honour system was great but I worried about people taking advantage. I cannot wait for my next visit!... More

We camped cliff top, and had a great view of the ocean, and were hoping to hear whales, unfortunately all we heard was the fog horn every 20 sec for 36 straight hours...hence the title no sleep !! We made it thru the heavy rains and strong winds...but suffered due to the foggy conditions with fog horn Amazing scenic breathtaking... More

Wow...the views...wowwwww. Private, spacious camp site - a good distance from other sites, on the edge of a cliff looking right out to sea. We were site 2 - site 1 looks to be the best if you can jump on it. But all the cliff edge sites were spectacular. Just make sure you plan for the time to take... More

We stayed here for 2 nights at the end of July. This was our favourite campground- so peaceful and the most beautiful ocean view from our cliff top site. Our site was so private- it felt like there was no one else around. We enjoyed the hiking trails and my sons had fun on the rafts in the pond. Fill... More

this is by far one of the most spectacular view a camping site can offer. very peaceful and quiet. toilets were clean and yes the showers are 2$ each but many other camping do have paying showers. campsite was perfect for a small tent and the car was parked at 15 seconds of walk. only notice: the foghorn blows at... Thank you for the memo and rational acceptance of the environment! The ocean is a feature and its dangers have to be recognized! However, if we could get all that salt water at no cost to us, it would be free showers! Kaye S More

This campground was amazing! The views are incredible. It was nice to eat our meals and have a nice view of the water. We also got to see a few seals! We visited in August 2014 and it was beautiful. The facilities for the showers and bathrooms are clean. There are also outhouses close to the campsite as the sites... More
