this was the most amazing camping experience. I can't even begin to describe the beauty of this place, still wild still rough around the edges and oh so beautiful. We camped in cliff top section D and have never been in a more perfect site. We wTched seals and whales and fishing boats and ferries. The staff was friendly and accommodating... More

This campground is so beautiful that it seems unbelievable or surreal. With side campsites are like no place I have ever seen and their hiking trails are extraordinarily beautiful. You can watch the sunrise out of the ocean and look down on the whales spouting in the bays and inlets below. It is off the charts gorgeous. However….... Your campsite... More

If you are looking for breathtaking views, and an adventurous cliff side camping spot, on a a quaint, low key non-corporate and friendly island- this is the place! Hole in the wall provided all the basic necessities: showers, rest rooms, soda, water, ice, firewood, etc for a comfortable campground- all on the honor system. This kind of hospitality makes staying... More

This campground is incredibly unique as you pitch you tent on the cliffs of Grand Manan looking out into the ocean. The sunrise on the ocean horizon was serene. I woke up and could see whales from my tent and you can often hear them singing in the evenings. This area offers such a special and different experience. I have... More

Excellent Place. Your review is well received -- and happy to know there were some compensations for the au natural road systems. As to the check in, experience has been the teacher. First there is the geography of the campsite -- the sites are easily located in some areas, in others, it is more complicated. Secondly, all the sites cannot... More

I have to admit, I was a bit sceptical of the customer service and additional fees associated with this campground after reading a number of the recent reviews but upon arrival all my stress was put at ease. The check-in staff member was extremely friendly and provided an informative overview of the Grand Manan area. We were assigned a cliff... More

Great Campsite, Thank you for your review and areas that can be improved. One works at improving signage and there are still misses . I am uncertain as to the viewing outlooks that were unsafe. One viewing outlook was completely enclosed and well marked that no one was to enter plus a storm felled a tree across it. It is... More

What an amazing view from the cliff tops at our site! We called the day of to see if a spot was available and they were able to accommodate us. Our check-in was quick and someone took us right to our site to explain everything. The view was unbelievable and for something so close to the ocean we couldn't believe... More

We fully enjoyed our stay. We had a 26' trailer and we were placed in a huge full-service site nestled in among lots of trees. The sites around us appeared to be just as private as ours. There is also an open-field area for owners of large RVs that prefer the ease of backing into a site without trees. There... More

Without a doubt, the view from our cliff side campground site was incredible! We could see whales, seals, the ferry and various fishing boats and pleasure craft. However, we felt we were being nickle-and-dimed in a sense. After a flat campground fee, other charges are tacked on to your bill such as for taking a shower??? ($2) and water usage.... More

We stumbled across this while reading a review of another park on the bay of fundy. Best thing that could have happened to us! The cliff sites are stunning views, and each one is different. Kaye is the owner and if you get a chance to talk to her, take it. She is very knowledgeable about the history of the... More
