Spent just one night here on our Eastern Canada road trip but wish it could have been more. Very characterful, small and cosy property (just 11 rooms or so). We received a warm and friendly greeting from the husband and wife owners. The whole property was very well presented in a traditional style and the standard of decor in the... More

We've stayed at the Hotel Paulin every summer for nearly 20 years while attending the International Baroque Festival in Lameque; it has become the highlight of our year. The hotel itself takes you back into another era; you start relaxing before you even get in the door. The rooms are beautiful and comfortable, and the food is outstanding. You need... More

Just spent a week at Hotel Paulin while in the area on business. I had a suite on the third floor. It was beautiful and quite comfortable. I had several breakfasts and dinners at the hotel. The food was excellent and my gluten free request accommodated each meal. There was no menu but choices were discussed in advance and the... More

The rooms are beautiful, the dinners are superb and the view is spectacular. I travel extensively for work and this was one of the nicest places I have stayed. There isnt coffee in the room but if you go downstairs to the kitchen they are happy to supply you with a carafe to take back to your room. They even... More

This hotel built in 1891 is decorated to the nines. The rooms are not large reflecting the original style but are comfortable. There is extensive use of wood for wainscotting and it has an old time feel with squeaky floors and steps. There was no coffee maker in the room nor a small fridge. The location is a bit away... We recently stayed at Hotel Paulin for one night, and were pleasantly surprised! It's approximately 10 mins to "Village Acadien". We were given the key to our room by an employee and were not escorted to our room. But other than that, our stay was wonderful. The hotel is very old, but has had several updates and is absolutely stunning!... More

We stayed at this inn for two nights. The standard room on the second floor was fine (small, clean, nicely decorated, good central air-con) but the highlight was the dinner...a relaxed, four-course meal featuring fresh local ingredients beautifully prepared. I enjoyed an asparagus-fiddlehead soup, salad that framed a variety of New Brunswick cheeses, a tender rack of lamb cooked perfectly,... More

We spent three nights here while visiting nearby friends. The hotel itself is quite old, with the creaking floors to prove it. However, the rooms are modern and attractively decorated. Although we were given the option of the Luxury King Waterfront Suite, which we had booked, the air conditioning was not working on the third floor. Instead we settled in... More

It was odd reading the bad reviews for this place and trying to square them with our experience. Gerard was there to greet us when we arrived and showed us to our room. It was beautiful, at the top of he house with views out over the ocean. Every room is a mini suite, with lots of room, immaculately clean... More
