Stayed here for one night and received a warm welcome. The atmosphere was friendly throughout the stay, with almost nothing overlooked (apart from there being no soap). Useful guidance on where to eat. Excellent breakfast, made even better by being able to watch humming birds on the bird feeder.

Had the good pleasure of staying here two nights. Terry and Graham (both great hosts) have recently done a whack of work on this place. It's modern yet still fits into the character of Alma. Breakfast was perfect. Location can't get better if you want to stay in Alma and there is indeed a small armada of hummingbirds feeding on... More

A grand old house right downtown, but interior shows more updating not quite true to the period. Very gracious hostess, front room was not noisy at all during the night as traffic is non-existent. Road construction at the park nearby had us awake a little earlier.

My friend and I stayed at the Captain's Inn last week and I really can't say enough about how nice it was. My friend and I agreed that it felt like more than just a B&B, it felt more like staying at home. Graham and Terri are so nice and accommodating, you couldn't ask for more gracious hosts. Everything seems... More

Captain's Inn, run by new owners. Graham and Terri were excellent hosts. They bought the inn last year and are bringing their love of their local area, fishing, and hospitality to the inn. What fun! Graham was out fishing when I arrived, but met him and saw his boat the next day. The room was comfortable, the hot breakfast very... More

The new owners of this well established B&B are at pains to up its star rating so are exceptionally accommodating. The rooms comfortable and spacious, prices good. You have the use of a kitchen to crack your fresh lobster, and advice is plentiful as the owner Graham is a lobster fisher, while Terri looks after guests with enthusiasm. Free tea, coffee... More

My husband and I stayed here in the fall (during off season for tourism in Alma) and we really enjoyed it. The bed and breakfast is right across the street from the famous docks where boats sit on the bottom of the ocean floor; which can be great if your interested in the local business of lobster fishing... but if... I can only reiterate what everyone else is saying. This place has the friendliest, most welcoming hosts. Terri and Graham obviously really care and although they have only had the inn for a few months, they have made wonderful changes and their attentiveness to detail and their caring attitude will make them a huge success. We thoroughly enjoyed out stay.... More

We really enjoyed our stay. Great hosts, good breakfast, great location. Alma is just outside the Fundy National Park and a nice little village to stay at. Terri and Graham were very nice and helpful. It is definitely more a B&B than a hotel.
