We stayed two nights in one-story motel unit. Positives: 1) Large room with two comfortable double beds and nicely-equipped kitchen area. 2) Bay of Fundy tides several steps from room door, with Adirondack chairs for viewing. 3) Fundy National Park a mile up road. 4) Outstanding restaurant (Tides) several doors away. 5) Accommodating staff at front desk. Negatives: 1) Hot... More

We've stayed here in previous years, and really like the location. It's very relaxing to sit in the chairs by the water and watch the sun set. The rooms are showing their age. It's time for an overhaul. I realize that the tourist season is very short in this area, but this could be a premium destination with the proper... More

I paid a premium rate and was given a key to a room that was already occupied. We were given a different room with a great view of the bay... NOT! One window looked onto the parking lot and the other window looked at a tree. When I got up in the morning there was a bug on the floor... More

Beds are very uncomfortable. Headboards are not attached to the bed frames and they don't use fitted sheets. Loved the hotel but couldn't stay here again due to lack of sleep. No air conditioning either.

Unfitted (so they migrate), threadbare sheets. Leaky shower door floods floor. Spider webs in corner with resident spider. Tiny shower with water temp varying between freezing and scalding depending on what other rooms are showering. Smoke alarm in drawer, without battery. Very musty room odor that did not dissipate. Anarchic parking. Threadbare towels. Very thin walls. Dressed up on the... More

I am used to 5* resorts but while trying to see the Hopewell rocks in busy season I was able to find accommodation at this wonderful little hotel in Alma approx. 20 kms from the rocks. This hotel is quite old school still using a room key. The rooms are very clean with hardwood floors instead of over used carpet.... More

We paid the same amount for night at a fully functional hotel in Halifax and Cavendish. The place is quite tight , but we booked this one because we were desperate to find accommodation. I like their location because it is pretty much beside the bakery and the way to the Hopewell rocks. If you can find a cheaper place... More

Basic stop for a sleep and go. Super friendly staff. Tiny rooms. Shower only no tub. Allows dogs. Gift shop with Moose out front. No A/C but okat anyway. Right on the Bay of Fundy. Way off the highway but right next to Fundy National Park.

I have read the other reviews on this place, and agree mostly with the other complaints.. The location is fantastic, and the staff were really helpful, but the place is dated and needs maintenance and upgrades to the suites... I was actually surprised at the cost for the night at 99+tax, but I needed a place to stay after a... More
