We return here annually and find the park to be family friendly, quiet and peaceful. The cabins feel quite private, one bedroom ones are back to back duplexes and two bedrooms stand alone with bush in between neighbors. They have all you need (except showers) inside, you need to bring your own pots and pans, dishes, food, towels and bedding.... More

We stayed in cabin 8A. It faced the roads leading to other cabins, but they are so spaced apart you really felt private. The cabin was a great size for a family of four or slightly more. Bed was a little hard but if you can't sleep on that bring a foam for on top. Apartment size fridge, stove and... More

Love this place the yurt is right beside the lake and sounds beautiful at night, very private and relaxing. Great for a quick get away! the only problem with yurts is that they are very difficult to book , i lucked out and someone cancelled theirs for the weekend. So you should always check the reservations calendar!

We have been reserving yurts once a year for a few years now. We love the experience. The yurt has a bunk bed, double on the bottom, single on the top. Table with 2 chairs. The futon fold out into another double bed. They also have a fan and a heater. There is no air conditioning. They are right on... More

Camp Morton is just a few miles outside of Gimli and offers Yurts and Cabins. We chose the cabin as it had an indoor washroom and we were glad we did. Victoria Day weekend is historically hard to tell what the weather will be like. We had great weather Friday & rain Saturday with snow on Sunday. Cabins are about... More

Our family of three stayed in yurt #1 from Monday to Wednesday this week. I was very surprised at how large the yurt was, also how clean it was inside! There was a deck large enough for three to sit on, large fire pit area with a grill on the pit, two picnic tables all outside. Inside there was a... More

Beautiful spot however there is no electric at the campsites. The Mosquitos were huge and drove us out! The woman who was working was very helpful. Winnipeg has had so much rain the beach was washed out. Very secluded.

The Yurt has everything you could ask for: it is clean, has plenty of room, and best of all lots of privacy. They've thought of everything at Camp Morton: carts are provided to carry your gear to the Yurt from the parking area a short distance away. Free firewood is provided, fire pit with grill and cooktop, fan, heater and... More

Camp Morton deserves to be better known. If you want a peaceful, fun, holiday in beautiful surroundings, then this is the place to go. It is located just north of the fairly large town of Gimli, Manitoba. This means that you can easily get supplies if you need them (just a short drive). Yet, when you are in Camp Morton,... More

Took my best friends on a camping trip and we are all pleasantly surprised. The YURTS were clean, well maintained and pretty much made for an effortless camping trip. The half dozen at Camp Morton all face the water and are fine little self contained units highly recommended for 2 or 3 friends, small family or a couple. A few... More
