Large, clean rooms with coffee, hair blower, fridge and microwave; Great customer service; Very good continental breakfast; Friendly staff. Front lobby is Unique. Make sure you look up. Thought the travellers prayer in the room was beautiful. Tommy the turtle is right across the street. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

We booked a two night stay at this hotel and we were very impressed and satisfied! Upon entering we were greeted by the friendliest staff who instantly made us feel welcome! We checked in and proceeded to our room. The room was complete with king bed, pull out leather sofa, kitchenette with microwave and coffee pot, a flat screen tv... More

After several nights spent in old, musty motels in small towns in western Canada, Montana, and North Dakota we were delighted to find the Canadian Wilderness Inn. It's not fancy, and we had to wait a couple of minutes for the woman on duty to drive over from her home to check us in, but the room was spacious, clean,... More

We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights over the holiday weekend. We booked a "family suite" thinking that it would be roomy enough for 5. Don't be fooled by the picture, there is one massive suite in the hotel, the other 2 family suites are tiny and cramped, not enough room for 4 let alone 5. And, the massive... More

We stayed here one night on a trip through Canada. Charming little town with unique murals throughout the town. Nice hotel--we stayed in the newer wing--it appeared that an older part of the hotel was housing road workers during our stay. Overall nice, clean, comfortable accommodations. Also enjoyed our visit to the nearby International Peace Park!

Hotel was clean and quiet, staff were friendly and respectful. Decor was well done. We found the facility served our purposes. Our group ranged in age from 7 to 70. Hotel provided good access to info regarding interesting features in the town such as the murals.

Stayed in the Deloraine location. There are two Wilderness Inn's run by same people. This one was fairly new. Rooms are basic but comfortable. Friendly staff. Probably better than the other options in town (there aren't many). Only complaint/problem was that car park turned into a mud pit when it rained which made getting from your car to the entrance... Boissevain was my home town growing up and this hotel has been built since I left. Great place to stay when I'm visiting family in the area now. Pets are welcome and the family room is great for my two kids. It's nice to have breakfast in the morning even though the offered items are heavy in the carb's and... More

Thank you so much for posting your review of our property. So glad you had a comfortable stay. I will certainly consider your suggestion regarding offering fresh fruit. Currently we offer a tropical fruit cocktail, and on the lighter side we do have yogurt and a couple varieties of porridge. Hope you visit us again soon. More

Taking a road trip on backroads can be challenging from the standpoint of finding decent accommodations. I put this small town on my itinerary because it was close to the border, which I crossed the next morning, and found information about this hotel on TA. Reviews were pretty good and their website looked promising so I emailed a reservation to... More

I spent 3 nights in this Inn using it as my base to explore Southwestern Manitoba (Turtle Mountain Provincial Park, International Peace Gardens, Whitewater Lake Wildlife Area, Boissevain Museum, and the Irvin Goodon International Wildlife Museum). What a pleasant surprise! My room was modern, clean, and comfortable. As a tall person I hate short showers ..... and this one was... More
