The resort is beautiful and is nestled in the heart of Nanoose Bay along the strait of Georgia. The vegetation and wildlife are rather amazing. We did stay here for a week and would rate the setting a five, but the resort only a 3. We were slightly disappointed with the lack of customer service. I called many times and... More

Pacific Shores Resort is located on Nanoose Bay close to Parksville on Vancouver Island. The Resort is well located along the shores of the bay with many rooms having a view of the water. Some parts of the resort are waiting to be renovated while other parts have been upgraded. We were in room 413b for our first night and... More

We stayed in rooms 414A&B, which we told were very unique. They were right! The bottom floor had a double Murphy bed along with a double pullout sofa. Both beds were reasonably comfortable. There was also a full kitchen, washroom, living room area and outside patio on this level. Upstairs included 2 bedrooms with queen size beds, along with a... More

This is a total Time Share property. Don't expect hotel amenities, except for a coffee maker. They offer no ice, microwaves or small fridges in the rooms w/o kitchens. The room w/ 2-Queen beds is very small. There is no A/C and the room fan is feeble at best. There was also no breeze, even w/ doors and windows open.... More

We booked two suites when there were only 3 suites left. Got a nice one BR suite on the 3rd floor at the east end. Nicely equipped, especially the kitchen. Fireplace and a balcony suited for 4 around a table. No lounges. Basic cable TV with a digital box in the LR, small TV in the BR. Views over Beaver... More

I cannot provide a fair extensive review as I only stayed for one night. I stayed in the 200 block which is 1/4 share ownership block. As it is summer time it is expected that a lot of families would be there, thus the noise levels were high. I only wanted a restful one night sleep but sadly that didn't... More

Arrived at 11am hoping for an early check in but the girl helping us made it look like we may get in early but never did. She took my name and number saying they would call when ready. Never received a call so when we arrived at 430pm, another lady helping said if she never took my credit card and... More

Just got back from a 6 night stay with two young children. While the beach isn't sandy, it is great for exploring. Lots to do right at the resort. The kid's pool is great, and the indoor pool/hot tub was nice. Spa is closed, currently, but we weren't planning to use it. Staff seemed helpful. They had just changed the... More

I did not stay here after booking, because, we also experienced 'the coal mine' effect another reviewer mentioned earlier...The room, a king superior room, was a nicely decorated, but extremely small, crowded and awkwardly shaped, giving a bent tube like effect. With sliding doors facing west, extremely small balcony, with no cross ventilation or air conditioning in the middle of... More

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! I was skeptical because there are a few negative reviews on here, but I have nothing but positive things to say! We booked a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment. It was 2 adjoining rooms in the 200 block, corner suite, on the top floor. It was 240A&B. The view was priceless, the... More
