We planned to stay two nights, but upon looking at accommodations in Nanaimo the night before the ferry home we decided to stay a Singing Sands a third night and get up earlier the following morning. We particularly liked the comfort of the bed and the darkness of the north bedroom. It was a great place to sleep. Opening the... More

We stayed at the Singing Sands a couple of years ago and enjoyed it enough to reserve a night again this year. We stayed in the same room with access to the back deck, so we were able to spend some time looking at the starry night sky over the ocean. I loved the quietness of the neighbourhood, the lovely... We spent two nights at the B&B and really enjoyed our stay. There is a really nice pub walking distance and the B&B is a stone's throw from the beach. The room was well appointed and bathroom nice and clean. The common area is also nice and comfortable and has a beautiful view. There is also a hot tub for... More

We stayed here on Aug.16th.and 17th.We had to attend a wedding in the Comox area! Gail is a wonderful hostess making sure all our needs were met! She even went as far as drawing up a map to help us find our way to the downtown area! We enjoyed both meals especially the smoked salmon egg dish she made !... More

This is a great layout for a bed and breakfast the rooms and common area were clean and comfortable our only disappointment with our stay was we were there for three days and our breakfast were basically scrambled eggs done three ways and minimal fruit to start - we would have appreciated a little variety but that was not going... Thank you for bringing your disappointment of breakfasts to my attention. I did do scrambled eggs with Canadian bacon on the first day, the second day was a frittata (type of open omlette) and when I mentioned we smoke our own salmon and I make them up in wraps with scrambled eggs, you all seemed happy to have scrambled eggs... We spent 2 nights at this lovely B&B in the Sandpiper Room. The house is very nice and the Sandpiper room is very cozy. We had a view of the ocean from our room. The bed is comfy and the bathroom is large. We were really happy there was a mini fridge in the bathroom. It was pretty warm when... More

A 10 night trip to Canada for a family wedding found us cramming in as much as possible during our stay-hence only 2 nights at Singing Sands. We chatted with Gail over our delicious breakfast each day and had plenty of tips on where to eat and visit. An unexpected highlight for us was the coinciding of the Snowbirds jet... More

This Bnb was very pleasant and cosy, very clean and well-kept, and Gail is a good cook and a genuine and hospitable host, not to mention knowledgeable about good places to explore in the Comox area. The rooms very comfortable and the beach was just three steps away, where we saw sea lions in the ocean. A really nice place... More

Loved this place, brilliant sun terrace to enjoy drinks and appetizers before diner, very nice hot tub for relaxing, clean, spatious rooms and a perfect breakfast prepared by cheerful and helpful host Gail. All at a very reasonable price. Highly recommended!

We stayed 3 nights while attending a local Music festival and felt it was the perfect place to come home to each night. Hot tub, ocean walks, great breakfasts and hospitable host, what more could you ask for? Our bed was comfortable and our room and bathroom spacious. We had a balcony overlooking the lovely gardens in the backyard and... More
