I think they only vacuum the middle of the room because all around the edges of the carpet were disgusting. We stayed over for one night in the double queen room on the second level. Room was not clean (not vaccumed). Continental breakfast is not much more that cold pasteries and a pot of coffee next to the wash room lobby. For a motel with a great location, the overall experience was a big disappointment. more

A good place for the price. Clean swimming pool; clean room with simple furnishings; refridgerator and hot plate in all rooms; pet friendly wing (try, though, to get one of the balcony rooms in the other wing which will have great views). This is over-priced for what it is. Our room smelled bad and was old. Not a great hotel but I couldn't find another one in Comox that would allow a pet so we had to settle. Wouldn't stay there again. ewwww more
