Lovely, rustic accommodation in a fantastic spot, we stayed 2 nights in October and were lucky to have one of the best whale-watching days all season. Accommodations are basic, but you pay for the great location (definitely BYO food if your cabin has a kitchen). Unfortunately, the owners have built some quite ordinary units which don't quite fit with the... more

We specifically stayed in Telegraph Cove to take the whale watching and grizzly bear tours, which were both AMAZING and we had super days for each, both weather-wise and viewing-wise, with abundant wildlife. I really cannot understand some of the previous reviews.....sure, if you are expecting 4-5* accommodation, then go elsewhere, BUT, if it is a charming, delightful experience that... more

This hotel is really more like a cabin/group of cabins/cottages. Calling it a resort is even more of a stretch. That said, however, it is in Telegraph Cove which is the cutest little town I’ve ever seen. We booked the cheapest room for about $100 USD/night (a little jacked up in price but really not many options up there). The... more

Telegraph Cove is not on the way and people ending up there wanted to be there in the first place. Especially during the peak summer months you must make a reservation. The promised e-mail confirmation never showed up in my inbox. The cabins are unique, special and charming. Because of that, it appears guests also put up with things they... more

This has to be one of the most unique places I have ever stayed! We pulled in late evening, and found it very difficult to find out where to check in - apparently the owner doesn't like signs, which might spoil the character of the place! We met some pretty interesting characters, before we found the office, just as it... more

Telegraph Cove resort was fantastic, it is a quaint little village right on the Water with cabins accessed by a boardwalk. The accomodation was a little pricey but well worth it. The cabins were nothing flash but had an old world charm about them. It was such a unique experience, nothing else on the Island compares, it is something that... more

We were so very disappointed in the resort. I had expected it to be the highlight of our trip, but instead found the experience less than good. The dead fish heads and fish odor was almost as bad as the flies in our room. The room was tired at best, the mattress horrible and the cleanliness a 1 star. The... more

Stayed on the Telegraph Cove Resorts camp site with my father in July and August 2007. Campsite is located away from the cove itself a little, but is amongst the trees and extremely well cared for by friendly site manager. Sites have fire rings and the washroom block is kept really clean, (free hot showers). At night it is so... more

We stayed in Wastell Manor and after leaving our previous B&B which was lovely Wastell Manor came as a bit of a shock. The walk from the carpark with luggage is quite long and on boardwalk so suitcases with wheels can get stuck. The suitcases then have to be carried up several rickety slippery steps. When we arrived it was... more

We checked in here at 4pm and by 7pm we had checked back out and asked for our money back. We are not that fussy but we felt there were some serious health and safety problems with this resort. When we first arrived, we thought the room felt a little tired and run down, but we expected that from an... more
