We visited Pinnacle Lodge twice and enjoyed the quite large and comfortable room and the very friendly and helpful welcome by Richard. Afternoon teas in the common area were lovely. We walked into Sun Peaks for dinner through a pleasant bush path.

We spent 5 nights at Pinnacle. Extremely comfortable, well maintained building and room. The staff was friendly and eager to please. Richard was one of a kind. He wanted everything to be perfect for each guest. He works very hard. The daily breakfast and tea time were wonderful. Thank You!!

If you plan to stay in Kamloops for one night, consider to drive some 35 miles to Sun Peaks and stay at The Pinnacle Lodge. You have a beautiful view from the hotel. In the winter you have a lot of ski runs. Richard is the manager and provide good services and support. There is an external hot tube. It... More

My friends and could not believe the service that we received here. Excellent food, great coffee and a staff that could not do enough to make our stay comfortable. Thanks Richard, we all look forward to coming back again.

As a Canadian booking in Canada at a Canadian resort, I strongly resent being charged in US$. Although we had a great experience and great service, we will not be returning to this hotel on a point of principle. I have to deal with multiple currency exchange fees when I travel abroad and I accept that, but not in my... More

Thank you for your review. I understand your frustration. VI is a US company that accepts payments in Canadian dollars for cash transactions but credit card transactions are settled in our US office. As an accommodation to persons wanting to pay all transactions in Canadian dollars, we discount our prices to equalize them in relation to the USD-CAD exchange rate.... More

Bad. Richard seems nice but when you have a problem, he doesn't care to listen. Breakfast is very small. Not even plain toast with butter or banana exc. bed was hard. The lodge is a good ways away from the village. I just wish the breakfast was better and Richard would listen to you.

Beautiful hotel excellent service and breakfast for the price of the "resort fee". The only complaint I have were the pillows were horrible and some of the towels had stains on them. Other than that great location to the village.

We spent two nights at the Pinnacle Lodge recently and we quite honestly weren't sure what to expect. We were pleasantly surprised at how hospitable the resort Manager Richard was - from greeting us at the door upon arrival, helping us for over an hour with the Wi-Fi and our electronic devices to preparing our breakfast in the morning. He... More

My husband and I stayed at the Pinnacle Lodge this summer for one full week to enjoy the cooler weather away from North Carolina. Our stay was amazing, relaxing, and everything was conveniently accessible. The staff was equally amazing, helpful, and very friendly. Breakfast was great and full of variety. Hot breakfast, warm muffins, cereal, toast, fruit, etc. were available... More
