We spent two nights at the Pinnacle Lodge recently and we quite honestly weren't sure what to expect. We were pleasantly surprised at how hospitable the resort Manager Richard was - from greeting us at the door upon arrival, helping us for over an hour with the Wi-Fi and our electronic devices to preparing our breakfast in the morning. He... More

My husband and I stayed at the Pinnacle Lodge this summer for one full week to enjoy the cooler weather away from North Carolina. Our stay was amazing, relaxing, and everything was conveniently accessible. The staff was equally amazing, helpful, and very friendly. Breakfast was great and full of variety. Hot breakfast, warm muffins, cereal, toast, fruit, etc. were available... More

My dad, father-in-law and I stay in Pinnacle for a weekly hunting trip in Sun Peaks area. The resort manager, Richard, was very nice and welcoming. We stayed in room 11. The main bed was a queen-size bed which was good, but a king-size would be great. The pull-out coach was close to the heat, so it's in fact warmer.... More

The room (17, north end of the main building) was great -- bigger-than-kingsize bed, fireplace, bar fridge, high ceiling, and a balcony with a nice view of the mountain. Everything was clean and very comfortable. Richard (manager) and the staff were all very friendly and efficient. The resort fee was worth it -- single selection, hearty, hot breakfast & afternoon... We took advantage of good deal through travel zoo and stayed at the Pinnacle Lodge in Sun Peaks for 3 days, it turned out to be a good choice. Our 3 days there were peaceful, enjoyable and it provided a very back to nature like feeling that was all around us. The breakfasts were part the deal and overall they... More

We stayed here in July 2014 and loved every minute of it from the moment we met Richard, the Resort Manager, who quickly checked us in to our corner room with a lovely view, until we had to leave after breakfast. The location is excellent - walking distance to the village for golf, dining and shopping. The rooms are clean... More

Richard, Cindy, Brook and Jessi don't change a thing about how excellently you treat your guests. You guys are the reason we Would not consider to stay anywhere else at Sun Peaks. Great breakfasts and scones as well. Thanks for the great experience and memorable stay.

Richard is the epitome of what customer service and kindness stand for! He was great from the moment we arrived and was helpful, generous and gracious our entire stay. I just recently stayed at Pinnacle Lodge at Sun Peaks ski hill. We had a great experience there. Richard and his staff provided exemplary service and tended to our every need. The pinnacle is also located a short walk from the ski hill,so no need to drive. Overall, a GREAT experience.

We love Sun Peaks Resort and this was our ninth ski vacation there. We tried the Pinnacle Lodge for the first time and were very impressed. All of the perks that previous reviewers mentioned were good for us too. We would repeat that the lodge was spotlessly clean. When Richard, the wonderful manager, realized that we were traveling with another... More
