I called last minute on a cold afternoon and got a room. Stephen at the front desk was great. Wonderful person to talk too. The hotel is just 2 blocks to main street which is good if you want to walk the downtown stroll. A few restaurants also within walking distance. No breakfast included but a Tim Horton s right... Reservations were a bit mixed up the hotel has no computer to assist in reservations Hall way smelled bad but the rooms were okay a little small. But did the trick for the night. Lots of noise from the Tim Hortons drive through. Request to be on opposite side of building if possible.

Very nice hotel. Internet is available in rooms. Tim Hortons is across the street. I can really recomend it. Hair Dryer is in every room. An ice mashine is in the lobby. The price is fair. Parkinglots are in front of the hotel. Easy check in and out.

An older hotel and it is starting to show. The paint is peeling. Very busy - there is not a lot of choice in town. Front desk is friendly and quick. Room was tiny and priced for big city. The king suite had 3 feet on all sides of the bed. Entry door to the room was so small I... More

Day 4-Smithers BC-had to stop here just because. Sandman Inn, comfortable accommodations, clean rooms, cat friendly. Internet access, friendly staff. Tim Hortons right outside front door. Nice small town, places to get groceries.

Stayed here with my husband and infant on a road trip. I counted 14 hairs in our bathroom, including one right on the toilet seat. There was also something crusty on one of the towels. Needless to say we didnt even shower on there, we opted to wait until we got home. On the plus side, the beds were comfy.

My wife and I were in Smithers for the fall fair in late August. We had booked directly with a local motel called the Aspen Inn. For whatever reason they lost our reservation and apologized profusely about the mistake. We stayed there one night and they promised to find us a room somewhere as they too were over booked. The... Stayed one night when passing through. Its an older property and the room was smaller than newer properties. However beds are still the same size so once asleep it did not matter. Steve who checked us in was very helpful and a likeable fellow! It may have an alternative entrance but the main entrance is up a few stairs that... More

The hotel is adjacent to Highway 16 but at that point it was not too intrusive and handy for access to downtown. Smithers main centre was small, easily walkable and pleasant. Stairs up to front entrance and then we were told that there was no lift to our first floor room. Reception was slow. The room had all the usual... More
