This wonderful comfortable lodge and restaurant was designed and hand built by their proprietors, Barbara and Chris Luther. If you read the other reviews you know why this is the TripAdvisor choice in Smithers and a traveller's choice winner. We stayed in the large, luxurious room on the second floor which was beautifully designed and furnished with excellent views. Based... More

We stayed at Logpile Lodge both en route to Haida Gwaii and on our return. Barbara and Christoph should be instructors as to how to run a lodge/B+B! The building and location are stunning; the rooms are spotless; and the breakfasts, made to order, are more than 10/10! On our return, we were able to book dinner at the Lodge... More

This was our second stay at the Logpile, and again everything was perfect. Beautiful setting, unique loghome building, the friendliest hosts, delicious breakfast... Our room was huge, with a private balcony and a spacious bath, the perfect place to relax and unwind. Thank you so much for having us, it was great!

I am from Smithers, and it is the biggest treat to go for dinner at this amazing restaurant. The food is incredible and the service is great also. If you are going to Smithers and you want to have an amazing meal, you need to go here!

We just finished two separate trips to Smithers, the last week of September and 2nd week of October. On both visits we stayed at the Logpile Lodge. The Trip Advisor rating was #1 for accommodation in Smithers with some amazing reviews, so we decided that we were going to book the Lodge for both of our trips. We are so... More

Absolutely the most beautiful and unique place we have ever stayed. The drive on the gravel road and slightly inconvenient parking were a small price to pay for the wonderful experience. The guest rooms, common rooms, and hallways are spacious, charming, clean, comfortable, and beautiful. We loved our room, our balcony, and the cozy fireplace in the common room. Breakfast... More

First of all, the Logpile Lodge is beautiful. The supporting structure is one of large logs—from the original logpile during construction. Wood and tile are everywhere and the wood glistens. Everything is finished and complete. Our room (Room L of seven each carrying a letter from the name) had in addition to a large deck and modern bathroom, a comfortable... More

The property is beautiful but getting to it is tedious. I suspect that the gravel road is in better condition at different times of the year, but when we went, it was quite bumpy and rutted; which would of been ok if you had to only drive it once. But since you have to travel back down to the town... More

We stayed here for 2 nights on our way to Prince Rupert at the beginning of September - and had a really good time! Barbara and Chris are great hosts (both attentive and amusing!) and made us feel very welcome. Our room was spacious, very clean - and quiet! Bathroom was plenty big enough - and a good supply of...
