We returned to the Logpile Lodge for our second visit during the Spring of 2014. Same wonderful facility, same immaculately cared for suite and, most importantly, the same gracious and attentive hosts. Barbara and Christoph work very hard to make certain that each guest’s stay is one of total comfort. Our suite was kept impeccably clean, our made to order... More

We stayed here on our way to Haida Gwaii. This is a beautiful lodge with friendly hosts- Chris and Barabara- and great food (especially the pancakes). The view of the valley was spectacular. It is well worth the trip.

Nothing to add to the previous comments. This was the best stay during our holidays in BC. If you can make it you should definitely stay here - if possible more than one night. We would stay here again.

We stayed here for one night in June 2014. We were greeted by Barbara upon our arrival and given a complimentary welcome drink, a really nice touch after a long driving day. The lodge was empty, we were the only guests, so we had the run of the meeting room and dining room. Our room itself had a lovely high... More

My Partner & I arrived 30th June for 1 night, we were welcomed to the Lodge and shown to our lovely spacious room with a balcony overlooking the meadows. This place is a delight it is so peaceful just what we were looking for. A little off the main road but well worth the short distance off route. The Lodge... More

Our suite-size vaulted ceiling room contained a separate sitting/dining area, large well fitted bathroom and views of the woods from the balcony and every window. No a/c; keeping the windows and drapes closed during the day and using the fans provided made for a comfortable temp. Situated on a hill in a rural area surrounded by gardens the property is... More

Located south and (I think0 west of Smithers, it's really, really worth the commute. It's way off the road and HIGH, with a stunning view of the surrounding mountings and a hiking trail on their property and across the very long dirt driveway and road. Surrounded by beautiful and wild flower gardens, cattle and open land, we're enjoying listening to... More

We stayed here for one night en route from Prince George to Prince Rupert. The lodge is ten minutes out of town by car. The town does not have a lot to offer by way of restaurants. The lodge is beautiful and the breakfasts amazing and Barbara and Chris were both extremely helpful, but we found the beds hard. Despite... More

After a three-day stay, my wife said that she's never stayed in a place that she liked more and that she didn't want to leave. Barbara and Chris proved to be terrific hosts: the food was excellent and the advice very helpful. Go to this lodge for quiet, serenity, and warmth.
