I am from Smithers, and it is the biggest treat to go for dinner at this amazing restaurant. The food is incredible and the service is great also. If you are going to Smithers and you want to have an amazing meal, you need to go here!

We just finished two separate trips to Smithers, the last week of September and 2nd week of October. On both visits we stayed at the Logpile Lodge. The Trip Advisor rating was #1 for accommodation in Smithers with some amazing reviews, so we decided that we were going to book the Lodge for both of our trips. We are so... More

Absolutely the most beautiful and unique place we have ever stayed. The drive on the gravel road and slightly inconvenient parking were a small price to pay for the wonderful experience. The guest rooms, common rooms, and hallways are spacious, charming, clean, comfortable, and beautiful. We loved our room, our balcony, and the cozy fireplace in the common room. Breakfast... More

First of all, the Logpile Lodge is beautiful. The supporting structure is one of large logs—from the original logpile during construction. Wood and tile are everywhere and the wood glistens. Everything is finished and complete. Our room (Room L of seven each carrying a letter from the name) had in addition to a large deck and modern bathroom, a comfortable... More

The property is beautiful but getting to it is tedious. I suspect that the gravel road is in better condition at different times of the year, but when we went, it was quite bumpy and rutted; which would of been ok if you had to only drive it once. But since you have to travel back down to the town... More

We stayed here for 2 nights on our way to Prince Rupert at the beginning of September - and had a really good time! Barbara and Chris are great hosts (both attentive and amusing!) and made us feel very welcome. Our room was spacious, very clean - and quiet! Bathroom was plenty big enough - and a good supply of... My husband and I were travelling from Alaska to Washington. We caught the Alaska State ferry to Prince Rupert and spent our first night on the road at Logpile Lodge. I cannot rate it highly enough. Barbara and Chris are excellent hosts, our room was very comfortable and immaculately clean. There is a great 2 hour hike up to a... More

We returned to the Logpile Lodge for our second visit during the Spring of 2014. Same wonderful facility, same immaculately cared for suite and, most importantly, the same gracious and attentive hosts. Barbara and Christoph work very hard to make certain that each guest’s stay is one of total comfort. Our suite was kept impeccably clean, our made to order... More

We stayed here on our way to Haida Gwaii. This is a beautiful lodge with friendly hosts- Chris and Barabara- and great food (especially the pancakes). The view of the valley was spectacular. It is well worth the trip.

Nothing to add to the previous comments. This was the best stay during our holidays in BC. If you can make it you should definitely stay here - if possible more than one night. We would stay here again.
