We were having too much fun on our road trip, and left finding a campsite too late. This campsite is very convenient to the highway, but VERY noisy all night long! Unfortunately I hadn't read the reviews. The washrooms and showers are great, but if you need sleep, drive on.

Because we went after the labour day weekend we got there best site (75) which had a deluxe stone patio, patio table and chair, and brick fireplace. We were 1 of 5 campers there. There were plenty of long wide pull through sites with gravel/dirt pads and some green space. This site has bark mulch around the trees and garden... More

We stopped here overnight on our way to Calgary. The sites were small but still had some privacy. The pool was a good size and the kids had fun. The service at check in was friendly and efficient. We didn't hear any noise from the highway despite being in a tent trailer near that side of the campground. The bathrooms... More

The campground was OK except for the noise of trucks and trains all night long along Highway 1 !!! One suggestion woould be to have a hedge or some sort of wall to help block the noise from the highway. The number of trucks and trains have definitely increased in the last few years!

Campers are advised to wash their dishes in the same sink that the cleaning lady dumps the water she cleans the washroom and toilets with. As a second option, campers can use the laundry sink. NONE OF THOSE OPTIONS ARE PROPER FOR DISH WASHING. Although a designated stainless steel sink exist on the site, owner refuses to allow campers to... More

It is amazing that attitudes like this exist in the hospitality industry. Dropped by to visit some family that had three sites booked here. Had to endure lectures from the office and pay 5 dollars per person, just to go in and visit family for a few hours. There were tons of open sites which tells me the attitude has... More

Great location central to many of the area's attractions. The owners Susie and Don along with their staff were fantastic. We arrived on June 29th with the intention of only staying til July 3, we then decided to extend our stay for our full holiday. The pool is great and cleaned daily. Showers are free, clean and hot. There is... More

We ended up here after missing a turn off and travelling a bit farther than we intended that night. We arrived at the KOA about 1/2 an hour after the posted office closing time. The owner came out and was very accomodating as he had a staff member open up the office, and book us into a tent site. We... More

Although this KOA had all the amenities we have come to expect of a KOA (clean washrooms, pool, store, etc.) as we were tenting this time, it was not the best stay. This KOA is right on the trans-Canada highway and for some strange reason, when they built it, they decided to put the tent spots closest to the highway.... More

This place has to be at the top of ripoff list. It is very expensive for what is provided. Extra guests dropping in for a meal were forced to pay $ 7 per person per day even though none of the facilities were used. The location next to the highway was most annoying. Their attitude was unbelievable "if you don't... More
