I hosted 11 women for a weekend yoga retreat at Ruby Lake Resort and we had a fabulous time. The surroundings are picturesque - we were delighted with sightings of turtles and eagles. The beds were super comfy and the updated bed linens and curtains were a nice touch! It was a peaceful place to practice yoga. The location is... More

If you want to get away and enjoy nature then this is the place to stay. Have a wonderful meal by the owner Aldo and a massage by Briget.. Listen to the loons, see the ducks and eagles. Take a canoe for a paddle on the beautiful Ruby Lake. The interpretive centre is there to visit and many other attractions... More

This place is a hidden little gem. Owned by an Italian family, the resort is 99 bird sanctuary and nestled on Ruby Lake, one of BC's warmest lakes. There is tons to do at the resort for kids and excellent for fishing, yoga retreats, and events. Jessica and the staff are warm and accommodating. We stayed in the Safari Tents,... More

We came to ruby lake through a referral from a friend. From the moment we arrived we were enchanted by this place. Jessica, the manager, was a sweetheart and accommodated our needs. The kids loved the bird sanctuary, especially the peacocks. The rooms need a bit more love but I understand there is a group trying to buy it and... More

Tranquil, peaceful and rejuvenate. If these are some (or all) of your goals, then this is the place to go. Nice resort. Has been looked after with passion. Great crew with a serene environment. Weather its family time you seek or down time; both are attainable here.

Nice resort. Friendly staff. Some of the cabins need an update. The food at the restaurant for dinner was fantastic. The lake was beautiful and clean. Biggest disappointment was the fact that you could not get coffee on the resort till after 11:30am when the restaurant opened. This needs to be fixed as most people want a coffee with breakfast... The location by the lake is stunning, but the cottages we stayed at with our extended family were dirty and rundown, greatly affecting our stay at the resort. When we arrived, our second cottage had been given already to another guest. I guess that should have told us about things to come! We had rented cottages #2 and 3, and... More

Ruby Lake is a great place if you are going for a simple and relaxing experience. We held our first fitness retreat at this resort and Jessica has been nothing but accommodating to our needs. It had great outdoor space for us to host our annual DyerFitness Games. (Similar to Crossfit Games) The food in the restaurant was amazing. So... More
