Nice resort. Friendly staff. Some of the cabins need an update. The food at the restaurant for dinner was fantastic. The lake was beautiful and clean. Biggest disappointment was the fact that you could not get coffee on the resort till after 11:30am when the restaurant opened. This needs to be fixed as most people want a coffee with breakfast... The location by the lake is stunning, but the cottages we stayed at with our extended family were dirty and rundown, greatly affecting our stay at the resort. When we arrived, our second cottage had been given already to another guest. I guess that should have told us about things to come! We had rented cottages #2 and 3, and... More

Ruby Lake is a great place if you are going for a simple and relaxing experience. We held our first fitness retreat at this resort and Jessica has been nothing but accommodating to our needs. It had great outdoor space for us to host our annual DyerFitness Games. (Similar to Crossfit Games) The food in the restaurant was amazing. So... More

The Ruby Lake Resort is currently undergoing a transition with their management of the resort. The restaurant is still under the same owner, and I thought that it was excellent! The food and the staff there are exceptional, especially if you want to try something local, and eco-friendly. The resort is the part that is changing. The transition has not... More

I had been curious about this place for many years but didn't have time to stop in.I needed a vacation from the over stimulation of the city and decided on the Sunshine Coast.Ruby Lake Resort had a magnetic draw for me just looking at the website.Jessica answered my inquiry promptly and I was able to book a two night stay... We only stayed one night while on a bicycle trip up the Sunshine Coast, but the time we spent between afternoon and next morning was memorable. We stayed at one of the Cabins near the lagoon, went for a late afternoon walk watching birds, and had a very pleasant dinner at the Italian restaurant, with view of the lagoon, entertainment... This place is magical on so many levels. An excellent gettaway for couples and families with lots of outdoor activities for all ages. Sunset canoe paddles on Ruby Lake is a personal favorite, hiking the land, watching a performance on the unique outdoor amphitheatre, eating at the Italian restaurant, or just chatting with one of the happy staff members -... My first visit to Ruby Lake was in 2006 and instantly it was love! The Spirit that is imbued in the tiny touches around the Resort, in its caretakers, and amongst the natural settings that is the backdrop for this natural oasis, is truly unique! The abundant wildlife, quiet canvas and incredible hikes makes it one of our favourite places... More

I've been visiting Ruby Lake Resort since around 2005 & the sheer beauty of this resort's location is simply breathtaking. I find myself returning time & time again... every season. There's plenty to do in the immediate vicinity such as swimming or taking a canoeing/kayaking trip in Ruby Lake, hiking up to Klein Lake, taking a short drive up to... More

Our stay was short, but I dont think I have ever slept so peacefully. THe lake is beautiful and is right outside your door. They do a Eagle feeding and we watched as 7 eagles flew down and ate the fish them were offered. The rooms were clean and nice. The staff was friendly and I will definitely be back... More
