If you're interested in fine dining, ocean views, great service, and affordable pricing, look no further! The Driftwood Inn in Sechelt is the place to go!! Sleeping to the sound of the ocean lulled us right to sleep.

Clean, staff was very nice and helpful, room could have used a little work in a couple minor areas. Restaurant was the highlight for me, fantastic prawn dinner and a nice water view while you eat. Breakfast was very good next morning as well! Came locally recommended and I would reccomend it.

Meh! Way too expensive for a dated car park motel on the main, busy highway, facing the shopping mall. Don't expect the website view from your dinghy and dated room. Heating loud and noisy, breakfast not included, bare minimum toiletries. Thankfully, the bed was clean, slept well, but I could have slept on a washing line I was so tired.... More

We are glad to hear you had a good nights sleep. We are in the process of installing all new heating units in our hotel, which are all very quite running. One third of the hotel is complete so far. We are looking forward to being able to offer Air Conditioning with the new units in the hot months. More

Nice clean room with amazing ocean views. We found the motel nice and quiet. Enjoyed the view from our balcony. The staff were friendly and accommodating. They even gave us coupons for a discount on our meals at their Pebbles restaurant. The only downside that we found with the room was that the minute you turned on the bathroom light,... More

We were very glad you enjoyed your time with us. Unfortunately we are not able to put a separate switch for the light and fan. It is required to have the two together in the bathrooms. We are working on putting another light in the back of the rooms near the bathroom that can be dimmed when needed. More

We were intentionally avoiding this inn after reading the reviews about construction. Unfortunately, due to unavoidable last minute changes in our travel plans, we arrived in Sechelt a lot later than planned and the other inns/hotels we passed by were either full, or the offices already closed, which we weren't expecting for a Thursday night. When we arrived, we had... More

Thank you for your considered review. The construction has driven us crazy for the last two years but is due to be competed in the next three months; at that time we hope to settle back in to a more normal existence. We are also about to install air conditioning in the rooms starting with the standard ones as they... More

Stayed at the Driftwood Inn this past long weekend. We paid quite a fair amount for a beach view room and were terribly displeased. We couldn't use our balcony as the screen door was broken off it's hinges and there were little flies covering the ground. As well in the middle of the night my boyfriend woke up to the... More

My apologies again; after we talked I did go straight to your room and disposed of the spider. As I mentioned we do get all sorts of beasties on the coast; I did think after you left that I was remiss in not offering you breakfast but missed the opportunity as I was so keen to get rid of the... We stayed in ocean view rooms with "full fitchens" that were very low on dishes and cookware. The view was nice but the rooms in general were priced very high for what they were. Our rooms were clean, the beds had new sheets, and the location right next the the beach was ideal. The downside was that the building was... More

While the location is close to ocean 99% of rooms have no view of ocean....wallls must be thin as i could hear people walking in next room and talking......really needs to be redone.....just your small motel room and a large on going construction of a condo development across from your room....and thats your view....yes if you want to pay more... Thank you for staying with us; I am sorry to see your comments. We are indeed a 2 Star Motor Inn; just a small property with 5 waterfront rooms and 23 others. We do our best and would dispute the comment about dirt; we are very conscious about cleanliness. The walls between the rooms are concrete block. We are a... More

Loved the location...easy walk to the beach and to town....not great for a nights sleep with traffic, construction right out our window and inconsiderate guests who don't recoginise that others are sleeping. The ladies at the front desk were very helpful and considerate and lowered our rates but still would hesitate to come back if construction was still in effect... More

Great location in Sechelt! Love that it was right on the water. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean. The shower was very temperamental, couldn't keep it a consistent temperature and unfortunately because of the condos being build next door we were not aware there would be construction right outside of our room at 7:30am. Simple and clean,... More
