We stayed here for three nights as we were guests at a wedding in the area, and stayed in this inn as it was one of the suggestions put to out-of-town guests by the groom. We'd never visited this part of British Columbia before and really enjoyed our stay here. The reception guy couldn't have been more helpful, our waterfront... More

I stayed here for one night, for work. It was during high season, so there was only one room left: a waterfront room with a kitchenette and two queen beds, going for about $185 (in July, 2015). That seemed a little bit much for what it was, which is a perfectly adequate room but not one you would plan to... More

Check the bed sheets! The sheet on the bed was stained!!! Staff immediately attended . We were unable to be moved to another room as The Driftwood Inn was full capacity. The bed sheets were changed with apologies. The bed mattress dipped and was not very firm. We set the air conditioning but once the temperature was reached the air... More

I went to the Sunshine Coast as a short gateway.. The experience was awesome! The inn was great and my boyfriend and I had a great time. The hotel overlooks the water which is a bonus! It's very romantic ! We will stay here again! The restaurant in the hotel - pebbles was great at well! Great food and great... More

We are here one night, part of a tour group. Room 104. Very nice. King bed. Owners are very nice. Looking forward to trying the restaurant for dinner tonight. It's an older style, motel but, very clean and very comfortable. You can't beat the location. And it's per friendly. Free wi fi as well

The rooms are a good size and housekeeping service is good. The air conditioning works, but is a little loud. Major minus - the key card entry is difficult to use and the door sticks. General maintenance is lacking. The weather stripping around the outside door was loose making entry to the unit even more challenging. By May all unit... More

Thank you for taking the time to submit your review. I am sorry that you had trouble with your lock; they do require a patient approach. The air conditioning unit does make a little noise from the fan but they have proved essential in recent years with long, hot summers. More

we got one of the rooms on ground level that opened up right onto the beach, the view was amazing and the room was very nice and clean. We will definitely try to come back and get this room again for sure

Stayed in Room 208. One level up, not sure if there was an elevator as I used the stairs Hotel is older and showing it's age, but was very clean. It is a motel type, with doors to rooms directly to the outside. Had two double beds. My view was of the parking lot, but I understand they had ocean... More

I have stayed in the Driftwood Inn several times now and really like it. The rooms are nice and clean, reasonable quiet and they are a good size. It is an older hotel but well maintained. The only time it shows its age is when you have a shower. The water stays the same temperature until someone else in the... More
