My wife and I had to stop and think to find anything negative about this stay. The only bit was the 2 km gravel road up to the lodge. After that you were in a a lovely setting, beautifully appointed yurts, great hot breakfast and a cozy atmosphere. Right in the center of Port Renfrew and easy access tro local... More

We spend 3 nights in a yurt and had a wonderful time. The yurt was very comfortable with a great view of the forest, ocean and hills. The fog rolled in every night, leaving by around 11 am, which made it very atmospheric. The bed was very comfy able, bathroom shower worked well and place has plenty of ventilation (nights... More

I stayed one night at Soule Creek Lodge on 29 June 2014 and I loved it because:- - very clean and well maintained room. It's spacious too. - The hosts are very courteous. I was visiting in a group of 5 but only booked one room for 4 persons. The host arranged an extra mattress for us without being asked.... More

Spent one night here, and wished we could have stayed longer. Wonderful accommodations, and the hosts could not have been nicer. Breakfast is included, but we are early risers, so was not able to sample it. The host offered to get up early to fix us breakfast, but we didn't want to put them out, so they fixed us a... More

Wow this did not disappoint. Great, clean, well furnished rooms. WWonderful bay view from the balcony. Gracious and accommodating hosts. Good info, advice, recommendations on where to go, what to do, where to eat. When we told him we would miss dinner and breakfast because of our busy schedule he even made us up a care package of food items.... More

We had the great good fortune to spend a night in the "Yurt of the Salish Sea", having made a spur of the moment decision to stay in Port Renfrew. We never imagined we would find anything there quite so splendid. We spotted a modest sign down by the main road advertising what turned out to be a stunning location... More

We stayed in the yurt, which was a first for us. It has character - being late May the temperature outside was mild but not hot, so with the heather inside it was perfectly warm at night and never hot during the day. I'm not sure it'd be as comfortable if the outside temperature was a lot colder or hotter,... More

Thank you for your review and comments. I'm happy your stay was good overall. We are going to get some better curtains for the front door as you pointed out. As for the Wi-Fi it is a bit slow but this is the result of being in a town of 250 people and we are just happy to have it.... More

This is a retreat on top of a mountain. SO quiet and a beautiful view of trees and water from up high. A gazillion stars at night. The room was very comfortable, the surroundings inspiring and definitely worth the 2 km of gravel road up the mountain. Outstanding dinner, all made from scratch with great care and artistry using local... More

Thanks for the review! We really appreciate your comments and hope to see you again. You will have to try a Yurt next time. We have just completed our newest addition Yurt of the Salish Sea. The views from it are extraordinary and as the new suggests you can take in all of the Salish Sea from the deck. The... More

We stayed here at the end of our week on Vancouver island and had wanted to stay somewhere that was a bit more off the beaten track and Port Renfew and Soule Creek lodge certainly fitted the bill! We stayed in the cabin rather than the yurt, but both looked nice. The accommodation was clean and had everything that we... More

Nine of us, all hikers, just stayed 2 nights at this picture perfect hideaway. We actually heard about it on top of a mountain in Kauai and had to check it out right in our back yard. We were NOT disappointed. Welcoming atmosphere, sumptuous meals, views to die for, totally relaxing. 3 couples stayed in yurts, I was in the... More
