My wife and I spent Thanksgiving weekend relaxing at the Soule Creek Lodge and exploring Port Renfrew and environs and it was time well spent. This was definitely the most unique accommodations we have ever stayed in. The yurt was very comfortable, cozy and intriguing. By the end of the stay we were discussing retirement options involving one or more... More

Book a YURT if you can!! We lucked out and booked the last yurt for a one night stay. Unfortunately, we missed out reserving the chef's dinner but the hosts were super nice and we met the owners the next morning at breakfast. Super nice people and the breakfast was delicious; however, it would have been nice if there was... More

My cousin stayed here for one night after hiking the Juan de Fuca Trail nearby. We loved the mellow vibe and down to earth feel that the whole place had. You get the feeling that that staff are there because they want to be, not because they have to, making for a very relaxed experience. Breakfast was amazing, disappointed that... More

In July 2014, I spent 2 fabulous nights at Soule Creek Lodge lodging in a yurt in Port Renfrew, Vancouver Island, overlooking the San Juan Inlet. Dinner and breakfasts consisted of fresh, local ingredients, including a delicious meal with fish caught that morning. It's casual and in the midst of spectacular West Coast natural beauty. The yurt was a new... More

We stayed here for 3 nights. The breakfast and dinner are delicious and the hosts are very friendly and helpful, catering to any dietary requirements. The lodge is very nice and when the weather is fine you can enjoy a beautiful view from inside or out. There is a hot tub available round the back up until 10pm. The view... More

Up a steep gravel road, at the top of a hill with views in every direction, is a unique outpost with deluxe yurts and gourmet cuisine served up by a pair of colourful brothers. Quiet and contemplative, it's a great and surprising retreat for a town of just 200. Just remember to bring some wine if you want any with... More

Awesome service and great value on the yurts. Excellent Breakfast included in the morning and an awesome dinner in the evening! Recommended great places to go and they even helped out with laundry after the west coast trail! Loved this place!

I love this place. It is so quiet, it made me realize how noisy my everyday world is. Last time I stayed here, it was our honeymoon. We were in a cabin, and it was perfect. We came back for our 4 year anniversary, and thought this time we thought we would try a yurt. We loved it even more.... More

We absolutely loved this lodge! We stayed in the Tanglewood Cabin, and we loved every minute of our two-night stay. POSITIVES: ♦ Quiet, peaceful, serene. At night, all you hear is the breeze. Even during the day, you may only hear a few other guests walking by. The lodge is far from the road, so you never hear traffic. ♦... More

My wife and I had to stop and think to find anything negative about this stay. The only bit was the 2 km gravel road up to the lodge. After that you were in a a lovely setting, beautifully appointed yurts, great hot breakfast and a cozy atmosphere. Right in the center of Port Renfrew and easy access tro local... More
