If you can at all afford to pay a little more money, it would probably be better spent at a different hotel. After tax, we paid close to $100 for a sub-par room. The manager was very friendly at check-in, but that's when things went downhill. Our reserved room had been given away already, and he said we were lucky... More

The Dalewood Inn had become Port McNeill's spit n sawdust dive bar. But thanks to a dynamic new business team Annie & Dawn have gutted and revamped the pub to create the Rock Pub! Assisted by their team of larger than life bartenders they have just opened a slick stylishly furnished rock bar complete with Harley D bike centre piece... More

Stayed here for 2 nights while touring Alert Bay, Sointula and Telegraph Cove. The sushi restaurant attached was quite excellent and the staff of the hotel were polite and helpful. If you are looking for a clean affordable hotel this one fits the bill

God this place should be torn down, the room was sooooooo dated and damaged, toilet would not flush properly, the red carpet was sooo stained and dirty, I got my money back ( not the total amount) and left before I can catch something . Sorry for the bad review but you have been informed. I would rather sleep in... More

We arrived at Dalewood Inn, Port McNiell with no problems from Vancouver. Check-in went smoothly and our price at $85 per room was reasonable. Booked this online with no problem. We had booked 2 rooms as we were taking 3 children to whale watch at Telegraph Cove the next day. We gave the 3 boys the ocean view room, and... More

We booked to stay here through HotelPlus. On arrival, we were told that there was no record of our booking. We showed the receptionist our confirmation print out, but he argued that they didn't deal with HotelPlus and it was impossible that we had made this booking! He actually told us to look online to prove that they didn't deal... More

We had to wait over an hour for our room to be ready. Front desk attendant didn't speak English (or French). Mattresses felt like the ground. Our room was over the take-out liquor store on theground level and the customers were very loud in the parking lot, and our windows were open as it was summer. The first 3 rooms... More

Four of us were needing to spend a Friday night in Port McNeill for a Saturday departure for a week out on the water. I misunderstood where I was advised to stay and accidently booked two rooms at the Dalewood. The room my wife and I were given was missing a few things that I would expect in any room... More
